  • you call yourself a black belt crawling off the mat like a wuss?

keep tryina get on ur stomach chad.. it's all judo "players" are good for on the ground

  • I also looked at your youtube account and noticed your only upload was you with a little matburn. If you want to talk trash you should at least try to back it up with some proof of your accomplishments tenderfoot. or you could always come to a judo tournament in Kansas.

  • Whether I have videos of myself fighting uploaded or not doesn't defeat the fact you crawled off the mat like a wuss. I think your assumption from my comment is I dont respect Judo as an art. I've been practicing Judo myself for 6 years and I have a lot of respect for it but the vast amount of rules it has because of the olympics has handicapped it so much it's no longer what it used to be.

  • The brain conditioning you get from all these rules are what cause you to even think of crawling out of the mat, or going on your stomach covering your lapels to avoid a choke instead of working your way out of the problem. This is what will later on come as natural to you if you're ever in a situation like this on the street and it wont serve you any good.

  • I went out of bound so the match would be stood up faster, not because I am a wuss and not because I am inexperienced on the ground. I have won most of my matches on the ground, but after competing for a few years and getting screwed by trying submissions and being stood up I tried to win by throwing. Your criticism is even more ridiculous because I won the very next match by arm bar. That match is also posted on youtube (Chad vs. 40 year old black belt).

  • That's nice, if you were so confident on the ground then why were you avoiding the bjj guy? When you were in half guard you weren't grappling, you just kept pointing out you were in half guard trying to get a reset.....

  • If you actually practiced judo, like you said, you would have noticed the referee called osaekomi while he was in my half-guard. I was pointing out I was in half-guard so he would call toketa and stop the timer. Trying to sweep, scramble or get back to full guard takes too long in normal judo match. If I had known the referee was going to let us sit there that long I would have tried to improve my position, but I have never had a ref let me spend that long on the ground with nothing happening.
