for all, muay thai is a thai style in ring fighting style, or thai kick boxing which is an inring bout. muay boran is a thai traditional martial art consist of strike, defence, weapon, pattern etc etc, JUST like other traditional martial art from other country such as karate do and TKD.

bro, this is muay thai, or i said tradition muay thai( inring thai kick boxing), before hand glove is introduce, all southeast asia kick boxing did not use had glove. now only the myannmr kickboxing(lethwei) still fight in traditional way.

this isn't Muay Boran. don't get me wrong, great fights, great fighters. but this is just basic Muay Thai boxing with the hemp rope instead of gloves

muay boran is the traditional way;

-you dont use gloves

-u can use throwings

-u just have a larger spectrum of techniques

muay thai or thaiboxing is more like the "western" way, just morge like kickboxing

Muay Thai now is sport which has less moves than Muay Thai Boran. Boran means traditional. Muay Thai Boran was created to kill in wars. so it has more deadly moves.
