@Uhmsters Yes, there is! I did it in my intro (except with 4 of them). It's not that hard, you just export the video clip that already has the picture in picture effect, and then import the clip you just exported, then add the picture in picture to THAT clip. Simple :)

yeah you have to go to imovie up the top then go to preferences. then in the 'general' section it will say show advanced settings and you have to tick the box then it should work how he is telling it in this video.

Yes you should be able to do that using picture in picture, however i would recommend using final cut for that if you have it as it gives you more control over size etc

Ok, I STILL can't get this to work. I feel incredibly stupid, but I only got my mac a week ago and no matter how hard I try I cannot get picture in picture to work. I can't even get the little menu to pop up. It either won't go on top of the other clip, or it splits the first clip in half and puts the second in the middle.

And yes, I do have Advanced Tools checked. What am I doing wrong?
