There's no link at all with quantic physics. This deals with geometry thus also with relativistic mechanics. The point is about what is intrinsic and what is not. How can one know one's world from the inside, that is without other dimensions to look at it from outside ?

I've read the book. I love it. It also includes some critics of victorian society. Moreover, in the book, our super-hero is no more than a sphere.
