Oh no maam, that's a picture of a goat as you said donkey, and you're more likely to see goats than donkeys. There are only two donkeys on the island if there are even that many in fact.

ummmm miss lady... I am Anguillian.. at present there are only TWO donkeys on the ENTIRE island. I've lived here all my life. you probably saw goats.

I went to Anguilla two years ago -- and I think you captured it perfectly. It's not all touristed up like St. Maarten etc. I want to go back!!!!!!

The ethos of the festival...traditional American jazz...not pop jazz music...aligned with the feeling of the island itself...its untarnished purity and uncompromised authenticity...was something we got a first-hand look at during our off-the-beaten-path tour from a native-born Anguillan taxi driver.
