Well I'm glad it worked for you at least ;D

Your problem is most likely due to not having enough space on your Memory Stick to hold the newer videos, check how much space you have left before adding any more videos!

You could try exiting USB mode first and then plugging out the cable.

A USB Cord should've been supplied with a PSP pack, If you didn't buy a pack (Just a PSP on its own) You can easily get the cord from PC world, Maplin or your nearest computer store. You can also find them on sites Such as E-Bay or amazon :)
