awesome video! I always wanted to play, so  question when your ship is destroyed is it lost completely or have to be repaired?

if your ship blows up, its gone.... all you can do is loot the wreck for mods that survived & salvage it for components.

thats why you don't fly anything you can't afford to lose.... and if its a T1 ship... INSURE it before entering battle, so you get most of your credits back

correct, insurance will cover @ 75% of the value of the ship, but not any mods/weapons you had fitted.

but if its a T2 ship, the insurance payout is so small, compared to the cost, its not worth it.

ofc money is fairly easy to make on EVE, so replacing ships & mods never takes long.
