alright mate, this laptop looks pretty great. Considering a laptop for around £650 GBP, do you reckon I could get something similar for that price? I tried googling your laptop but i dont seem to be able to find it anywhere
@Spamjabber It isn't available anymore, there are newer models at the manufactures homepage deviltech . de it's in German, but I think you can read the specs, if I'm not mistaking they ship worldwide.
There are many build to order manufacturers that use clevo barebones I'm sure there are some in the UK.
I bought this laptop that time because it was top rated in a magzine called norebookjournal, now the best rated thing there in your mentioned class category is the Medion Erazer X6813 (MD97762).
@Spamjabber But when it comes to build quality and the quality of the display Clevo notebooks from MySyn or Deviltech are among the best.
I carry my laptop to university every day and due to that I'm studying computed engineering, I see a lot of others with all sorts of laptops and none I've seen so far, could match the display quality of the 9700 DTX so you might take a look at it's predecessors.
But as I already mentioned performance wise the cheaper medion counterpart doesn't seem to be bad

@zeke156 It was okay you can clearly hear it in a silent room, but I usually use the laptop in a full classroom there it isn't nociable, but of course its louder then normal laptops.
@Bulldeg93 sounds great it's a great notebook, it's fast, it's versatile, it has one of the best displays available.
it only has 2 disatvantages as far as I've noticed it's heavy and the battery lasts only about 45 minutes in normal mode and abou 30 when strongly in use

@Qfic sadly yes, you can more or less watch how the battery goes down, that and that the notebook weighs about 3,3 kg and it can be loud when at full load are the major but so far as I've seen so far the only disatvantages

How long did it take for you to have your laptop delivered after purchasing?

The price is incredibly low ~1100 euros (19% VAT included since I live in Sweden)

@wisebisoft designskins[dot]com you have to chose MySyn as brand there and chose the XMG6 its chassi is the same used in the Deviltech 9700DTX
