because harmonix worked out the copyright with youtube and now it should be all good.

HMX worked out nothing. My original account was banned for uploading Bang Camaro's performance on Conan O'Brien.
Sadly, there is no other site that can compete with YouTube.

I heard somewhere about that WMG is letting us upload copyrighted content as long as long the bands actually gave that content to the games.
Correct me if it's not correct.

Yes, you upload a video, and if it says it has content owned by wmg and wont play, dispute a claim saying that the game rock band/guitar hero has rights to the song and that your just making a video of it.
