also feeding them can make them aggressive towards humans. they may be cute (which they are), but if you have racoons try to avoid feeding them if possible. once they figure out you have food, they will stop at nothing and lean towards mischief to get to food. they'll eat anything! litterly they are very omnivorious! and they are noctornal so they like to run night missions when your asleep in your bed. lol

But then my 16lb Jack Russel tore one all to hell with out getting a scratch. i had to take them both in and get there booster shots for rabies and distemper. this all happened in a matter of two nights. seriously get a Jack Russel! lol they can stand toe-to-to with them things. haha

@jernmin gj . Having a gun or other weapon avaible can be useful. If it essential to kill the animal for your protection and those around those then do so. I dont think you need a flamethrower or shurikens like the other guy. Unless your in a parrellel situation trapped in your garage with a flamethrower it would seem reasonable. but the most humane way is the reasonable way.

dayammm that must be a huge cat! racoons can get up to 40 lbs. im fighting with like 4-6 of them every night. they keep getting into my garbage cans, eating the outside cats food and growling at me every night when im out for a smoke. i may have to start putting tabasco sauce on some baited food outside at night. that'll teach em!. or get a pellet gun or pepper spray. don't want to shoot them with any guns tho. just send them to another house. lol
