  • Doug Kenney (as stork), "Well what the hell we spossed to do, ya moron!" And who can forget "Mine's bigger...my cucumber... is bigger than yours".

  • There are fifty better lines in that movie alone.

    What about

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son

    I'm only thirteen!

Mention extortion again and I'll have your legs broken

They took the bar, the whole fucking bar!

    Start drinking heavily.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Just keep your hands and feet away from his mouth.

They confiscated everything, even the stuff we didn't steal!

  • Alright DiNapp44 - You're three for three. I have watched three of your clips, and in every one so far, you have picked some random line that is not that memorable, classic, quotable, etc. I am beyond confused. You're picking the right (classic) films... just using the wrong lines. This is not really an opinion thing - there are generally accepted classic lines from these films that have withstood the test of time. Where are they?

  • C'mon "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?" is the best line in this movie

  • HO-LY-SHIT-TH

  • I'm a zit, get it?

or... Double Secret Probation..... or any of the hundreds of far better lines from this movie...

  • That's crap! A better line from this movie: "TOGA, TOGA, TOGA!!!"

  • @Eastbay007 thanks, tool.

  • @tphillips68 Tool? Homo? Well! Someone forgot to take their Midol today.

  • "Being fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life."

  • Well, done, DiNap44! Excellent selection here. Such an underrated line.

  • Excuse me Sir is this the Delta House?

  • Tom Hulce....where the fuck are you?

  • You guys playin' cards?

  • hard to beleve Belush would be 61 years old now. What memories could we have had f he had lived for the last 28 years? : (

  • @ZMonster06 that is why we fondly remember these scenes

  • I used to think Bluto was comedian Artie Lang from the Howard Stern Show. Both very funny guys.

  • I can't say how I love the guy who uploaded this one... really i was searching for this film for at least 5 years now and didnt know anything about it... and not even Christmas yet

  • You've been searching for this movie for 5 years? Did you try a search engine? When I googled "grab a brew, don't cost nothin" the first result was the Animal House page on IMDB.

  • I was like 14-15 years old and watched it in Hungarian so it wouldnt help me at all:) and the only scene I remembered the one when Belushi eats some white ball shaped food and spits on Kevin Bacon and says I'm a zit or what:)

  • everybody knows this movie. are you sure you're from this planet?

  • yes Hungary is a country on this planet definitely...

  • oh. Well in that case your English is good, and you may also enjoy "Caddyshack" and "Porky's."

  • I am also living in Hungary but i am a originated german.....sajnos en sem tudom mi film cimet.

  • I think the scene you're looking for is when he chugs the bottle of Jack and says, "Thanks. I needed that."

  • this movie is a little bit before my time, either that or I was very young...

I don't understand the punchline here.

  • I was a kid when this came out, but I watched it a lot during MY college days, back in the late 1990's and early 2000's. The humor here is Bluto's completely lazy and careless attitude, as well as the overt jab at college fraternities using free alcohol to seduce kids into pledging the frat. At least that's what I gathered from the scene. Other's may've been laughing at something else entirely. Hope this helps.

  • You must be like ten then. That line is hilarious!

  • I'm 25, I just never saw the movie. I don't see how it's funny. The guy seems kinda funny, but i don't think it's a hilarious line.

I never grew up hearing someone saying this line. Other lines like "make my day" "you looking at me" "what do you mean i'm funny" these lines i've heard before, yet i don't even remember watching them. So pardon me if I never heard this line ANYWHERE.

  • Maybe it isn't funny, cause ya never went to a college in the states.

  • lol you're stupid.

  • nice come back

  • it wasn't a comeback, it was a statement

  • It's not you Tian. The poster could have picked from a hundred lines in this movie. Why this one ranks as classic I don't know. I didn't even remember it.

  • @knightflyte The funniest thing about it is actually how he almost spills on Amadeus.

  • His movies were crap, danny devito is a better comedy actor!

  • @knightflyte just shut up, homo.

  • @knightflyte

It might not be a classic, but if you don't "remember" this quote, I have to question your Animal House expertise.

  • :D:D:D:D

    Love John Belushi!

  • which film is this from?

  • It's from "National Lampoon's Animal House". A movie made in the late 1970's about college fraternities and campus life in the early 1960's.

  • Great line from that classic: The Big Bus. "I only ate one foot!"

  • "Can we dance wiff yo dates?"

  • @ASR10MAN Negros stole our dates!

  • theres a second scene when they enter delta house. and its hard to hear, but there are 2 guys that walk by, and the one guy says "i was in my underwear and i had a boner" LMFAO OMG HAHAHAHAHAHA like i said, its kinda hard to make out what they say, but if you play it a few times, you will make out what he says. its really funny. anyway, that song is not money money, come on. this movie took place in the early 60's. that song is the 80's man. it couldnt be that song. i love my college shirt!!!!

  • The song, "Money (That's What I Want)", was a 1959 single by Barrett Strong that was then covered by the Beatles for "With the Beatles" in 1963, as the most well-known version. The Kingsmen also covered the song the same year for their album "The Kingsmen in Person", which also had "Louie, Louie."

  • I believe the version of "Money" played in this movie is sung by John Belushi, himself.

  • no no, right after this scene, when a girl comes and steals flounder's hat. the lyrics are something like "you better learn how to fight". can't find the song and it's not in the soundtrack either.

  • Does anyone know what's the song playing? It's right after "Louie, Louie", but it's not listed in the official soundtrack.

  • Sure is.
