I read the posts. Boney M. and singers are celebrating the strength, beauty and power of the legacy of the African people. Yes, Kenyans are participating in the "modern" (white establishment) ways; I hope they are keeping their own culture alive despite the attempts to destroy it. I feel the humanity of a people. Others see African people as victims who need to be saved for many reasons, often from themselves. Power to the people of Africa! May your land stay your land!
Do Tanzanians have a national song they can sing to a visitor really? Did Bonny M ever visit TZ? What is the capital city of East Africa? Swahili is the NATIONAL language and ENGLISH is the official language in Kenya. For TZ it would have been Russian but as only one man in the country could speak it, it was useless to get translators to translate educational material to Swahili. So we all have foreign ideas that rule us today. Songs unite us.
Nice one..Kenya nchi yetu.. Hakuna Matata...Wageni wote mwakaribishwa.Nchi ya kupendeza..Karibuni nyote. Thanks to Borney M. though this is a cover version.
hey...its kiswahili actuali...and its mainly a country next to kenya that speaks it..tanzania..kenya does not really "officially" speak kiswahili..if i may put it that way..i speak it a bit me self..
first i aint tanzanian, i just adore the country after mine...i didnt steal any spotlight just stating the truth..and speaking of being original i heard some kenyans saying kilimanjaro is in kenya..who the fake 1s..you guys need to flaunt yo african jewels together against the world not with each other, or else you'll be stagnant or sluggishly moving to higher stuff
man,,kenyans know kilimanjaro is right at the border,,tho we only got 10%of the mountain..kenyans are real smart ass,we only act dumb to piss off TZ....as far as the jools go..weve now embraced modernity,,traditions belong to the museums now hehe..
oooohhhhhh!!!!!! Where is Temoo and Pumba. This is where I need some coconut juice drink to chill my heart whislt I am doing the African dance steps with this song.

Boney M came to kenya and stole our songs.
Useless kabisa. They even changed the words.
I always thought they were Kenyans. They are thiefs and should pay us for exploitation.
