It's got little to do with being uptight and trying to speed. Driving slowly in the left-lane majorly disrupts the flow of traffic behind, creating a hazardous situation. The space cushion between cars decreases, and changing lanes becomes more difficult and dangerous, if not impossible. If you can't play by the rules, then stick to the back roads.
I want that law in Washington state. I'm usually a fairly nice guy but I find these people in the left lane just floating next to a car in the next lane all the time. I am not a very nice person when I get my chance to pass one of these people. I have been using this tactic on them: pass them and get in front, slow them down until they move over, then drive off at the proper speed. I know, what a jerk. Don't occupy the passing lane unless you are using it for that reason.
those northerners are so uptight...leave 15 min early and u wont have to speed...but i do agree with his idea, i'd just put "State Law, Slower traffic keep right." Instead. And maybe a "God Bless You." on the back so they feel like crap if they flipped you off...
The rest of the world goes to school for a couple months to get their driver's licence my friend but here , if you know how to steer you got a license . I have been in europe and i never ever had a similar problem .
Please make it a law in Miami dade Florida, we have this super wide expressways and pay tolls just to be behind these left lane dicks whom don't know common sense, courtesy and something so simple to do. The rest of the world does it, why not Us, a supper power?.
