My 1st Vaio Problem: Normal fan sound for Sony Vaio CS series???

@SergeCWazukie I have the same laptop!!! And I have the same problem. The fan is so loud I can barely hear this video :( .. BIOS firmware update by sony didn't help either

i have my problem right now it's to noisy the fan. and when i'm bring my laptop outside people think i'm carrying a bomb or something

If you did any more research on this issue, you'd know that it is a common defect with the CS series fans. It is NOT NORMAL.

Go to a sony style store and get a fan replacement. You can get a free fan replacement even a year after your warranty is expired.

you have a loud fan but i dont think that is a problem with the fan because my fan had a strange grinding and wasnt as smooth as urs and i felt is like something jamming it i sent it to repair and i go it back again and now it's still quiet

OMG!!! that's why they replaced the CS series with the CW, everyone will agree with me when I tell you that you made a HUGE mistake getting the CS instead of the CW, I suggest you try to get an exchange, and pay the 100 or 200 dollars difference, because at the end its gonna be worth it. I'll give the CS a max of 7-8 months before it just dies on what are you going to do after the 1 year warranty?
