My sister works in an office, and much to her embarrassment she's kindof a weepy girl. She cries in anger, pain, joy - you name it, she'll tear up over it.

And you can really tell she's been crying, because her face gets red and puffy.

One woman told her that (although it might sound awkward) to dab a tiny amount of hemorrhoid creme on her face to remove the redness.

I was dubious because I'm sure it's not recommended for the eye area!

But that's what I heard, so I thought I'd share it :)

I have very similar features as to you and elise (bubblegum princess) and am looking for other you tube gurus maybe with light features to check out. Ive heard that before. Another thing I heard is if you have toothpaste put it on the pimple before bed. Its supposed to shrink pimples. I tried it once or twice when I was young.. I think I was 15. I dont remember if it actually worked. but its cheaper than the $30 spot remover I use now, lol.

If you wear contacts try using REFRESH TEARS. It's a really good product. Personally, I found that Visine didn't work well and actually dried my eyes out.

Hey, Elle. Just wanted to let you know that although it's ok to use Visene products occasionally (for your eyes, of course) that they shouldn't be used often for a long period of time. I used to work for an optometrist, and she said that it can cause weakening of the eye muscles over time. It doesn't only constrict blood vessels, its main purpose is to numb the eye so that you don't feel any irritation and you don't rub or blink too frequently. So be careful using it!

It's better to use an eye drop (especially for contact wearers who experience dry eye frequently) that is simply a moisturizing eye drop. That should be its only purpose. There don't pose any danger to your eye, or long-term negative effects.

I tried this and it doesn't work, what it will do is make the skin around the pimple extremely pale but the redness of the pimple only slightly fades. Then you are left with what looks like a white spot on your face with a red pimple in the middle. Also try it before going out because once applied, it doesn't wash off right away so you will still be left with the white pale skin around the pimple

This is a great tip. What I like to do is soak both ends of a couple q-tips with the eye drops, put them in a sandwich baggie and pop them in the freezer. Whenever I have a blemish I just take one out and use both ends. The drops take away the redness but the coldness reduces the swelling a bit too:)

Elle, I know this is off topic but....You mentioned that you wear contacts and use redness reducing eye drops. I wear contacts as well but never thought I could use those eye drops with contacts.
