@keyedyourcar55 EdGi already was selling the barrel I wanted, so no, it wasn't custom, but you can have it custom made if you want. It does boost fps and accuracy considerably, but other upgrades also help.

I've always thought of PDI as superior, but you really can't go wrong with EdGi either.

I would recommend the KA Air Seal bucking over Nine Ball. Perfect compression, and very consistent. The compression is so good that my gun got a few decibels louder when I installed it.

The range really depends on the sum of its parts. KWA is an awesome brand and I would guess that you would get very good performance out of that.

I couldn't say exactly how much but I can make a guess. The stock barrel on it is 6.05mm, which is really good stock but could use an upgrade if what u want is a long range rifle. Plus it looks like it can go full auto. If u are just doing semi auto, i would say ur range would be in the 200ft-250ft at most. This is just one bb, it can get blown away. On full auto, i think u can successfully reach longer ranges. This is only a guess, hope it helps.

A barrel usually doesn't add any range or fps. It might ad 5-10 fps but that would only be a few more feet.

@mals101 it is worth it, the edgi are slightly longer, which does give you an accuracy boost, if a very minimal one

and the edgi has a larger outer diameter, the metal is thicker so does not vibrate as much when you fire your gun, leading to more accuracy

You need a 435mm barrel for a jg bar10 inner barrel and a 430mm will also work and if you have the jg bar10 g-spec it is 303mm size

You could but with a stronger spring than the stock spring, you could have some troubles without more upgrades. You might be able to pull it of for a little while, then your sears might break or something bad might happen. I encourage that if you want a stronger spring, then buy some internal upgrades. Also, longer barrels don't always mean more accuracy and longer barrels can encounter suction problems.

Well, with a really good barrel and a really nice hop-up (Nineball, King Arms, Firefly), you will shoot 200ft without any problems. Accuracy at this distance might vary from around maybe 10in at best to 5ft depending on how clean ur barrel is and other variables. 500fps+ is harder. With the stock spring, u maybe will get 400fps depending. 500fps, ur going to need internal upgrades like new sears, new piston, new spring, etc...

Well, if you really want the experience and fun of upgrading a gun, then the bar-10 is ur gun. You can upgrade the hell out of it and it will shoot perfectly after ur done. If you want just out of the box performance, get a UTG L96 or a KJW M700. These u can also upgrade, but not like the Bar-10 and they shoot pertty good out of the box.

If you do the Teflon mod and Airbrake mod properly you should be able to get close to 500fps near stock. It should also shoot 200ft pretty easily stock also. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

To tell you the truth, no really. Theres a certain point when barrel length doesn't really affect accuracy. You may get a slight accuracy boost, but not much. Plus, then you have to buy a bore-up kit for the longer barrel which will cost you a lot. If ur barrel is too long, the amount of air the cylinder pushes out won't be enough to fill the barrel and shoot the bb. Don't go too long, but you might be able to get away with something a little longer than the stock barrel.

Edgi makes 6.00mm barrels too.. Wich one is better 6.01 or 6.00?

With the 6.00mm, the accuracy is slightly better than the 6.01, but not by much. With the 6.00mm, you have to clean it A LOT so it doesn't jam. If it does jam, the barrel will scratch and thats bad. The 6.01mm takes less cleaning because its a bigger barrel. Overall, i'd say the 6.01mm is better. It is slightly less accurate (not by much) and takes less cleaning.

Awesome, only two weeks? I've been debating whether or not to get the EdGi kit or wait for the kit Ben has been making, i'll wait for Ben's. It would be nice if you could make a really cool looking stock. Like a free-floating barrel to reduce outside vibrations and things like that.

I have tryed it, and its great. Im hitting a human sized target at about 225-250ft. My rifle is stock with my airbrake sawed a little bit, nine ball bucking, and edgi barrel. The barrel combined with the nine ball is amazing. I had a little trouble installing the barrel, but i fixed that.

My range as about 150-190ft (Depending on wind). It was bearly hitting at 190ft. Now with the edgi barrel, im hitting so much father and more accuratly. 190ft with the edgi barrel is super easy now.
