We need these sort of instructional videos as much as the gear demos. I love my gear vids but ya know you got to get though the interview and consultaton process first before they can see the PERDY lights.

Ideally, I do it every time - just from the point of view of having as much information as I can.

I've found that the gigs I've had problems with in the past tend to have one thing in common. I didn't have as much information as I would have liked!

As for issues, when we started up our company, we did allot of dry run emergencies. That helped us cope with unexpected situations. Everything from a pc crash to a power failure.

Sometimes you don't always have the option of meeting the couple before the wedding day. Up here we have allot of out migration from here to Alberta so people can get work and allot of the times they want to return to get married and go back. So we have to do just about everything over the phone or email. But most of the times in these cases we try to get in an hour or so when they arrive in Newfoundland to do the meet n greet.
