I bought all of them and am so psyched to get them. Lee do you plan to carry any new products in the future such as finger extension bands for example?
lol, i got them for my birthday :) im 16,i got them all, im on 200 pounds now, can anyone tell me how many sets you do and reps on these ? cause i usually have liek 5 sets of 10 then hold exercices, thanks for hte grippers they are amazing
HG's or CoC's are similar with small differences. If you prefer smoother handles get HG's, if you prefer more texture(like me) get CoC's. To say that CoC are harder than HG's is nonsense. IT DEPENDS ON THE GRIPPER RATING. For example, I find HG250 to be a little harder than the CoC#2. I can close the CoC#2.5 but can barely move the handles of HG350! (I am hoping to close CoC#3 in the next 6months and then move on to the HG350)
I personally find the HG easier to set because the handles are closer then the COC. But you are absolutely right, how hard the gripper is to close depends totally on the spring tension, not the brand of gripper.
I've checked it out and It's an awesome program. I'd still prefer a weight training gym workout routine myself. But if you want something extra, or if for some reason you can't train at a gym, P90X is great.
With all 6 grips you can train your grip in a progressive fashion and work through different rep ranges. Just like you would with your weight training (i.e. light, medium, and heavy).
I actually have the full set of COC and the full set of Heavy Grips (obviously :-)
Yes, the COC are harder to close, but I personally like the HG more for training. The grip is not as rough so it doesn't tear up the fingers as much.
Plus the handles are closer (good for people with short fingers like myself).
If your goal is to get COC certified then you should get those grippers. But for people who just want to build up their grip and forearm strength HG work great, plus they cost less :-)
Myself , I wouldn't bother with something like that, because if your banging the weights on a regular basis, you wouldn't need that because your gripping every time you use something. If you never rest your forearms your bound to get tendonitis. And that's hard to get rid of . Good luck on your sales though.
I used to feel the same way, but gripper training can add a lot to your workouts. I personally gained a full inch on my forearms in just 3 months just by using hand grippers.
Saying you don't need to work your forearms is like saying you don't need to work your calves because every time you walk your calves contract. But as you know, walking alone will never build big calves. The same applies with grip and forearm training.
Sure do... I include a complete hand gripper training program with every order. This is the same gripper workout that I personally used to build the strength to close the HG350 in just 3 months.
bought one of the 150 hand grippers and ive seen great improvements in my grip. very high quality it'll last a lifetime unlike those cheap plastic ones.
the challenge on these is the 300 and the 350
