actually, slash could be just about anything involving any characters of the same sex from 1 or more animes.

So just about everything fanmade is slash.

Stuff like Gravitation, Loveless and Junjou Romantica that involves a young/old relationship are Shotacon-ai

and stuff like Ikoku Irokoi Romantan which is usually something resembling day time soap opreas with a touch of hard core porn are yaoi.
