The right efs that worked for me was efs by akom1976. if you are unable to connect the phone --- the efs does not recognize your phone, you are missing a usb driver... First install that... than follow the normal instructions...

Hey great tutorial! I tried to do install the iPhone theme and apps. Worked great but i had to delete somethin extra off the SWF folder in the LGAPP then i accidently deleted something off the SWF folder and now i need the complete Original SWF files. First the home menu didnt show up. Now after trying to back it up the entire screen is yellow and wont fix up even after doing it step by step. In fact now the Phone wont load on the EPS

You have to install driver.

i have windows 7 64 bit, and installed an other driver, so that i had to reinstall an other ..

if it didnt disconnect, try to read it anyway... it does not have to disconnect, after you refreshed it... some mobiles do disconnect, some dont... my didnt DC too but went allright...

hey, i did everythinng up untill renaming folder TOTO i dont get a yellow screan when i refresh... nothing happens, and i dont get the LGAPP ghost folder, so i tried to carry on with the reading of TOTO which lead to me having to click error messages for 8 minutes about 2500 of them, anyway, it wouldnt copy the files, do you know what i did wrong or how to fix this?? thanks alot!

When it's finished, rename "TUTU" LGAPP and refresh the top section and Disconnect your phone, reset it.

Normaly, it should work, but you have to find the back up of the version of your phone for it to work. (ex: v10a,v10b...)

For the yellow screen :

I downloaded the back up for my version (v10i-sfr).

connect you phone and open EFS media builder, follow the stages 5 & 6 from the tuto.

You will have 4sections on the screen.

Rename LGAPP "TOTO", refresh,delete it and refresh again.

Found your back up that you downloaded before in the bottom left section, when you found it, rename it "TUTU", refresh, right click it and click Write.( that's in the bottom right section)

Your doing nothing wrong!

It's not connecting because the drivers for your phone are not installed on your computer.

The little disk that came with your phone has the drivers, so install the drivers and try connecting again (And it should WORK)

If your lost the CD then i can put a download link for the CD and you can use that instead :)

sometimes the ghost lgapp won't appear but carry on with the tutorial by renaming the TOTO folder back to LGAPP and then disconnecting and restart your phone.

It's ment to happen!, so when your phone has a yellow screen you connect it with the usb cable and reconnect your phone using the efs media builder. When it's all connected again you can follow the tutorial to make a back-up :D
