  • on a scale of 1-10 how hard do u think this is??

  • can you divide the paper into 4th and cut a 4th out?

  • @RareDude493 Why would you want to do that?

  • @AdamsSara to make a third of of an A4 paper when u take the 4th out it makes a 3rd in the paper and it is a square

  • @megantiet101 Yes, of course, Tearing won't give as nice results as cutting usually.

  • can we use smaller size paper? if can what size?

  • @rithwikh3 As long as the paper is twice as long as it's high, you can use it. It depends on your folding skills on how small you can go (and of course the type of paper you are using).

  • i didnt had that big paper :(? what should i do?

  • @levinchau123 I used wrapping paper for this video. Maybe that's an option?

  • i love the sound of the paper

  • Where do you get the paper for your origami? lol I can never find the right size :(

  • @meowgirl11 I often buy rolls of paper and then cut sheets of the required size. This is especially true for the models that need non-square sheets of paper.

  • @meowgirl11 you can get the origami paper at hobby lobby

  • @keepitloud lol the closest hobby lobby store in my location is 200 miles away ^^:

  • When the video always says to repeat throughout the whole model please tell me on what numbers they are on. for example you do like the first 3 but then the screed just says to repeat it , But on which ones? im simple minded so can you plz post all the numbers every time the video says to reapeat

  • it means start at one then go to three them five then seven then nine and so on and so forth.

  • when the video says repeat all the way i dont know soo can u plz tell us where oon all the parts where u reapeat

  • its one thirty second not one thirty twoth

  • Yeah, someone else made me aware of that already. I'll try to remember that the next time I say 32nd. I'm not fooling anyone, am I? My native tongue just isn't English... although I make enough mistakes when I talk German, too. ;)

  • lol ok sry

  • Hey honestly you can say it any way you want!

  • but it didnt work so i cut origami paper in half so it work now

  • i made it with square paper

  • can you make a video on how to make the chocobo by kamiya satoshi?

  • @godfreak100 she said satoshi kamiya wouldn't give her permission neither toshikazu kawasaki

  • @baconman47 Very true. :)

  • were did you get paper that big i cant find any

  • I used wrapping paper in this video.

  • can it be any size?

  • The paper has to have a ratio of 2 by 1. Other than that you can choose any size.

  • can i just cut a square in half to make this model?

  • Yes, of course.

  • oh damn my papers are both having same colour!!! :((

  • ITALY

  • I'm not making fun like jack-ass there, but thirty two-th lol! the vids are awesome THANKS A TON!

  • Ah, it did feel strange saying thirty-twoth. You're of course right. Thanks for correcting me, it does show here and there that English isn't my mother tongue.

  • well...

    what is your mother tounge?

  • so what is your native language?

  • German.

  • excelentes los videos de origami...son muy importantes implementarlos en la educacion para trabajar los dos hemisferios cerebrales...naibeth

  • every time i go to do valley folds and mountain folds they always squish up and crease wrong? HEALP PLEASE!

  • Try to get all the creases in the right direction. If they are in the wrong direction, simply reverse them and crease sharply. That should help.

  • Hi again Sara

I have folded a slightly new version of the Twister for Cellophane.

The results are truely Kaleidoscopic !

    Hope you anjoy!

Keep up your great work ! ! !

  • is 11in by 6in,ok?

  • Go for 11in by 5.5in or 12in by 6in.

  • China Town

  • i have a question, where do you get those papers with a different color on each side?

  • at micheals. you can get them by the hundreds

  • what is it about recorded paper folding that sounds so smooth and soft?

  • I have a feitsh for it, why i watch these videos! lol. She is great though, her voice is soothing too.

  • Me too! These videos are all so relaxing.

  • hello sara its me. its been a year or 2 and i requested taht u can call charles esseltine for the help on dragon in flight origami? reply back plz thxs! ^_^

  • Given that I only joined YouTube 1 year and 2 months ago, it definitely hasn't been two years. I'm actually pretty sure it's been considerably less than a year. :p

Anyways, the answer is still the same as back then: I didn't succeed in contacting Charles Esseltine, so I'm not making a video on his design. If you succeed in contacting him I might do a video. But without permission it will not happen.

  • umm just wondering, on the blue side,

is it 2 pieces of paper or just one?

  • It's a single sheet of paper throughout.

  • very nice instruction

  • OoO very nice. Can I use a half of a regular square?

  • Sure, you can. The first time I folded it, I used half a 20cm square (ie. 10cm by 20cm). Using a 15cm square might be a bit on the small side (for a first fold, at least).

  • aha, thanks! I'm going for 10cm by 20cm:) I actually took a little break from origami, starting again now I think hehe

  • Thank you, for the instructional video of my model. As always, you have done a brilliant job. Having produced a few instructional videos, I am aware of the considerable effort and time it takes to produce the level of quality you display.

Once again, fantastic job, I couldn't be any happier with the results. Please call on me if you need my support or ideas for future projects.

    Doc

  • Well, thanks for your permission, and for designing this great model! I'd love to present more of your work.
