it was a 42 foot patter with 24mL of oil. When I bowled on it, the lanes transitioned quickly. With only having to frames its hard to adapt quickly. Especially with the lights, it caused the lane to transition quicker.

It's my guess that they were using a 42 foot sport compliant oil pattern. They usually do for these types of events. The talented and the accurate are the ones who shine.
