it was a 42 foot patter with 24mL of oil. When I bowled on it, the lanes transitioned quickly. With only having to frames its hard to adapt quickly. Especially with the lights, it caused the lane to transition quicker.
It's my guess that they were using a 42 foot sport compliant oil pattern. They usually do for these types of events. The talented and the accurate are the ones who shine.
Ahhh! No way! I know that Jasmine! She was in my Friday league. She had a 300 in my league earlier this year. That's two people that have made ESPN from my Friday league.
On another note, at least this isn't looking like last years SWAC tournament.

whats the difference between this "national" tournament and the national tournament in which the wichita state university men and women won?
bownguyen316 2 years ago
I may be wrong, but this might not be Division 1, or maybe Wichita State isn't Division 1, that's just a suggestion
StuddyLuddy21 2 years ago
gosawkks is correct, but the NCAA championship includes all divisions from D-1 to D-3 I think.

This is NCAA bowling, what Wichita St. won was the non=NCAA bowling championship that the USBC sets up...

@irishpogi I'm assuming sport compliant means the low ratio of oil in the middle vs. the edge? I think that's what it meant.

My mistake. Jason made television on CBS.

I was so glad that ESPN2 finally aired the entire event LIVE after airing this event for years on tape delay and not in its entirety.

First shot, the 'non bowling charismatic one' (rob stone but female) calls it a 3-6-10. -_-

That was Beth Mowins doing the play by play.

what's the oiling pattern?
bluemin 2 years ago
I'm betting money it's reverse block. Most NCAA tournaments are ran this way.
StickTweedles87 2 years ago
it's a long pattern
