I like watching these, mostly to hear you talk. However I do pay attention to what you say. I fact I distinctly remember something you said in a previous video: "Don't do it until you can do it right, do it until you cant do it wrong." I like that philosophy, but sometimes I have trouble repeating something that I want to practice.
I hear you. That was a stupid decision on their part. The 6d pen, is by far the best third party stylus for the Cintiq. The regular Art pen doesn't have a marker feel to it. If you don't have the space, you could consider getting one of those ergotron monitor mounts. The cool thing about the 24HD is that apparently it is now a proper monitor for viewing, so you could replace one of your normal monitors with it. Just giving idea.
@HDaviator Well, chances are they dropped support for the 6D stylus because software devs have to write in the necessary code to make it work. As far as I know, there was MoXi that really made use of it (and it has yet to be made into an actual product) and there's my driver hacks for TVP Animation Pro (which is not a product either). Maintaining product lines is expensive (due to assembly lines, injection molding dies, etc.)
I think they've got their heart in the right place with trying to get more pressure sensing(2048 instead of 1024 levels) and a wider gamut range of displayable colours, but I just can't justify the cost. Traditional artists have to deal with even fewer colours, no undos, no layers, and so many more limitations. There are better artists out there than I am, working with crappier tools. So I must focus towards improving myself, instead of replacing my already functional gear.
first like! lol

Are you going to buy the wacom Cintiq 24HD when it comes out?

@HDaviator Probably not. It's too big to fit into my current setup and they dropped support for my favourite 6D marker stylus.
