being a dead head form the 70's and 80's and a jazz/blues and fusion pianist I am having trouble figuring out why kids like this band. it is not great musicianship, nor great songwriting nor great stage presence. is it just of a lack of good bands to follow so might as well just pick any as a consolation prize or kids are just so bored or kids are so lame as to what good musicians are supposed to sound like or is it the X factor... even shit sounds good with the right drugs.
