  • 1:40 obviusly not perfect?

  • wow thanks for accepting my video respnse! this video is the reason i started practicing it lol

  • Awesome

  • Are the Bucks mad at you for performing both of their signature cuts (Jackson 5 and Pandora) smoother and better than they can? lol!

  • so smooth! :D

  • YOU ARE SO SO SO SO GOOD man I would really like to know how todo the jackson five and all dan and dave's trick as well as you ;p.

  • fuuuucking!!! crazy!! =) you ae good

  • WOW amazing, better than Dave's performance, and yeah, you know the skater cut, a lot of people like to add that "kickflip" but you didnt, its your choice.

  • @808darkhands it's good but it defiantly isn't better than dave's not by a long shot.

  • @08budokai80 well Im saying that because Ive never seen Dave perform the whole thing without camera cuts, even on the trilogy

  • @808darkhands really? have a quick look, i'm sure you will find plently.

    all the best.

  • @08budokai80 yeah I will try to find a better one, but this one is still awesome !

  • how long would a blue deck of circle back tally ho's last because im not avalible to them as others are.

  • @cardfreakable all tally-ho's blue, red or black, circleback or fanback are good, better than standard bicycles and last quite a while.

    hope that helps.

  • came back after learning the jackson five... i now see cards spinning, deck spinning, head spinning...

  • are those bricks of studs in the backround?

and where did you get them?

  • how many packs of cards are there in the background?

  • How long did you practise this until you master this?

  • You are GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT flourishing.

  • better than the bucks!!!

  • @WRIGLEYSalias wtf? hell no.

  • @BoiledBlackMilk i think... it is better!

  • @WRIGLEYSalias Dave has done Jakson 5 years more than Jordan, Dave has it cleaner.

  • smoooth

  • jackson 5 is a top packet retention up until fase 6

  • @CardMadMonster Well spotted! Though I believe it is also a bottom packet retention up until the Leno Stall. :)

    Jordan

  • @JordanLapping i dont think your a correct because right at the beggining is maddonna does a one haded cut of some description when u do the flare just before phase 2 also can you help on the flare bit on phase 2 1:14 also isnt the leno bit called the leno cut not the leno stall or at least they called it leno cut oh well

    regards

    nick

  • @CardMadMonster I think you may be slightly mistaken - if you note the bottom card and perform Jackson Five up until 5 Faces of Sybil, you should find the bottom (face) card is the same. Because the one you drop into your palm during Madonna III is an indifferent packet, followed by the bottom packet which is then cut again to the bottom. :)

Sorry, "Leno Stall" is the term I'm most used to, as they named it that in their first notes. Yes, it's called "Leno Cut". My apologies!

    Jordan

  • @JordanLapping ok ok

i understand on ur channel it says you are from the uk (just like me) and i was wondering if you had the trilogy andthensome and if so where you got it from and the same for the trilogy

  • @CardMadMonster because people have there own styles and different angles

  • you said you changed it but 2 be honest i cant see the difference between yours and dan and dave other than yours was slower

  • hey jordan. i just love your videos. you are Mr Smooth:) hehe:)

i just wanted to ask.. do you think big hands and fingers are really important for flourishes? or just practise makes perfect? thanks a lot:)

  • that my friend, was an excellent performance!!!!!!

  • You would have to be incredibly determined to learn anything from this video. Very good performance.

  • Wow. Awesome stuff. I'm trying to learn this, not even close to this kind of skill.

    props

  • i think your performance is way better than dan and dave's..coz u use tally-ho which is a slippery card,,dan and dave use jerry's nuggets which is a non-slippery card..good job bro..

  • What is hardest Pandora or Jackson Five

  • of course its pandora

  • ive watched this 9 times lol m8 ur fkin gd

  • i would like to see your performance of pandora, in my opinion i think it looks better than all D&D other flourish.

  • style IS more important than speed

  • So True

  • LOOK AT THE PLAYING CARDS BEHIND HIM!

  • how do u put the music at the point u want it with audioswap

  • You Cant Well I Dont Think You Can I Use WMM

  • no words... just incredible good job

  • what was that change at :55? just wondering. Nice J5 btw!!

  • It's called a double lift bro.

  • flawless performace =P

how long did it take you to perfect it?

  • I'd like to ask you, How long time have you been practicing this flourish, until get it so clean and smooth?

by the way, I really enjoyed all of your videos. 10/10

    .Peter

  • he started in 2005 i think

  • That was awesome!!!!!!

  • Hi Jordan I just wanted to say that I loved your performance and it seemed damn near perfect to me.

    Thanks again

    Henry

  • in what dvd is presented?xcm or flourish?

  • @beaocola what are you saying?

  • awesome!

  • man please can you tell me how are named all 5 cuts?separately...i know that number 1 is madonna and 5 is leno cut

  • Hi @beaocola,

    The phase names are:

    1) Madonna III

    2) Sybilism

    3) The Skater Cut

    4) Five Faces of Sybil

    5) Leno Stall

    6) Genesis

While technically not "five" separate cuts, Leno and Genesis are merged quite well as one final closer. I hope this helps,

    Jordan

  • @JordanLapping That's correct, though they are named slightly different in the Jackson Five:

    Madonna

    Sybilism

    Skater Cut

    Sybil

    Leno Cut

    Genesis

Just wanted to point that out for phases 1, 4 and 5.

  • @psychomike2235 i do

  • @asgerregsa Me too :D.

  • Wow too many decks of bicycle and studs at the back.

  • @clarence22joseph you can NEVER have too many decks ( if they are from the U.S. playing card company, you can have way too many bad and sticky cards )

  • wow, its been about a year since I last saw this video... and now I can proudly say that my j5 has become to some degree comparable to yours. And Jordan, if your still alive, any plans for a new video? :)

  • Man i need to have magicen friends ive nevr met a magicen in my life im from edmonton alberta so i really am like the only magicen there but i would love to talk to some one about magic if any magic want to you should add me to face book my name is bradley john hanna

  • Well ive been practicing this flourish for 3 and a half months every day and i still haven't perfected it im still pretty smooth at it and not fast but i cant still do the whole flourish with out dropping cards or stopping. I still need more practice to be as good as jorden.I need more practice.

  • Smooth as hell mate ! :)

  • wow

  • hic, very smooth :X

  • love it its still fast but smoother nice

  • name of song?

  • What is that ting at 00:51

  • double lift?!

  • wow. nice handeling

  • i was like WTF NO FREAKINNG WAY

  • definitely agree with style over speed, i like to see the flourish in all its glory!

    beautiful performance

Have ordered the Trilogy, cant wait for it to come.

  • Hi bm3hansen,

I'm sorry if you found the gesturing "annoying". As I'm sure you know, it's extremely common to gesture with your hands to emphasize speech -- in an November issue of Psychological Science, it was even said to aid memory while talking. But perhaps you found it annoying because the camera was focused in that area, I am unsure.

Either way, I'm glad you enjoyed the flourish performance. After all, that is what this video is actually about.

    Regards,

    Jordan

  • very nice and smooth performance!!!five stars for that!!!

  • Just great. Speed is perfect, handling is awesome. Now I know I have to practise a lot more :D

  • I love your speed. Not to slow, not to fast...just perfect

  • it called smoothness:)

  • Yeahh...

  • it was very good... nice speed and really smooth

  • I prefer his J5 to Dave's J5. Jordan does it very smoothly while Dave focuses mainly on speed. Nice work jordan :D

  • wow u can kick my ass doing the J5, you can do it in 32 seconds and i can do it in like 2 minutes lol

  • I'm trying learning it. I can do phase 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6. Phase 5(leno cut) hurting my right pinky

  • Me too! and my pride...

  • lol

  • that was great!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • i cant do any f*****ing flourishes cuz my hands are too small.Anyway, nice man.How long have you been practicing??

  • WOW. excuses are like butt holes, everyone has them, and they all stink.

  • if you can hold a deck of cards you can flourish... my hands are TINY and I can do them.

  • this is like better than Dan and Dave themselves.

  • bs lol. but good.

  • hes good but dave does it better.

  • U are good :D

  • that was sick!!!

  • jackpot

  • that was gnarly

  • how long have you been practicing???!

i stuck at the madonna phase one. the card could not drop to my palm... T.T

then, i jump to sybillism and stuck. and jump to leno cut and,... the card always drop when i put the card in my right hand ring and thumb.

you got a big hand man,..

  • Practice, my friend. Just practice.

    I know it's overused but it's true.

I had the same problem at first.

You just have to keep on doing it.

And skill is not based on hand sized.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hmm...sybillism is without a doubt probably the hardest one to do. Not because the concept's hard, but because the crads on the left hand drop or the cut's really slow. When done properly, it should look like the cards are somehow moving from one hand to the other. :)

  • diabolically good to be honest!

  • it bugs me, how to do a transition from sybilism to skater cut

    gosh!

  • Very clean...

  • hey ;)

    love your performance !

  • Anyone notice the cool color change at 0:54? Awesome :D

  • Still a great handling of the dl.

  • Not perfect! That Jordan, is the best Jackson Five performance I have ever seen, and probably will ever see. Unless God himself comes to earth and jams.

Make more flourishing videos, LOVED misc and September 15th. Keep it up.

  • ah amazing lapping, it isn't perfect? well not dan and dave perfect but pretty damn near!

  • i really think it's perfect in a way that's different than dan and dave. he did it smoothly... while dan and dave concentrating on speed

while me... still stuck in the sybilism :'(

  • To be honest... I think is better than Dan & Dave...

Is the best performance I have seen so far...

  • wow :-O great

    how long is the training?

    sry for bad english :-S

  • you're really good!

  • Why is it called the Jackson Five if there are 6 phases?

  • 'cause the last phase 'the genesis'' is just a way to close a Z grip

  • Oh. Okay. Thanks.

  • Its called Jackson 5 because it has 5 packets for a majority of the flourish excluding the leno display

  • Ya how long you start to practice and how you start practice..

  • How long do you practice per day and how long have you been practicing?

Just wondering because you're good at it!

  • jordan ! get a lead and make some more videos !, hope your well and tell your dad i said hi :-)

  • to me learning the flourishes on the trilogy is soo hard cause its captions and it annoys me and you have to keep going back and back to see wth he did

  • holy shit why are you so damn modest

that was one of the smoothest jackson 5 ever

  • how long did you practice the cut sir jordanlapping?

  • hey Jordan where did u get those bricks of studs, when i go to a a walgreens i can't find bricks and how much do the brick cost?

  • "Obviously not perfect" he says !! lol

  • ur so sarcastic! :)

  • lol you get a -4 rating because you said that he did it perfect ^^

  • amazing yo good job

  • SMOOTH!!! Espicially the last closer

  • superb!!

i think your absolutely right.. style is better than speed..

  • so smooth ..

  • Hi, is this cut regarded as the toughest flourish in the card flourishing community?

  • Nope, it all depends on the person ... but yeas Jackson 5 is a tough flourish to get down smooth.

  • There are much more difficult flourishes to have consistently smooth such as clockwork or l-cuts, in my opinion.

  • I agree, that's what I was trying to say xD ...

    Thanks.

  • Sorry, I read your comment incorrectly then.

  • could you tell me the song during the performance?

  • Fucking great man.

  • Great performance, I'm loving the smooth style, I find I like that flowing style better than raw speed, it enables you to see the changing patterns, and to actually focus on the displays, rather than just passing a beautiful thing by.

Great job, and I'm back to practicing it myself :)

  • Not perfect?! Man, you did it brilliantly. Wish I could do it that smooth!

  • Hoho SMOOTH!!!

  • Oh yeah, you did a beautiful job on the J5 btw. I just started this flourish not too long ago and I'm wondering how the hell you got it to be so smooth. lol.

  • there already is one. its on the trilogy XD

  • lol people really need to start reading the video info to avoid asking dumb questions.

  • you rock JL!!! 5 stizars

  • Do you know a British magician named Jamie Allan? Great magician!

  • wow performed super smooth :)!!!!

  • I just saw Dan and Daves J5 from the Trilogy, but I think you do it better. They do some parts faster, but you know... smoothness>speed
