This is about the protests of the Chinese government outlawing the movement called Falun Gong. The practice now has a sizable global constituency; inside China, some sources estimate that tens of millions may continue to practice Falun Gong in spite of suppression.Hundreds of thousands are believed to practice Falun Gong outside China across some 70 countries worldwide. Between 2,000 and 3,400 people are thought to have died by torture in Chinese prisons due to their participation in Falun Gong.
