Let me start off by saying that this is quite a difficult song to cover, and you've done it really well. It's simple yet effective and you've claimed it made it your own. Next, was wondering how you managed to produce those wonderful harmonies? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

@TheSolarSix Hi there. Thanks so much for the comment. As far as the harmonies, it's just 3-part harmony recorded with a lot of reverb and a little bit of echo. :)

Nooooo, I can't play along because your whole tuning is down 1/4 or something. Am I doing something wrong? This makes it really hard for me to learn the acoustic version, since this is the only material I've got. Could you post the chord progression you use somewhere?

@Theinfinitethought I have the low E string tuned to a D, then I capoed the 2nd fret.  I don't really even play the low E string in this song. I mute it when I'm strumming. Check out Steven Wilson's acoustic version. That should help--that's how I learned it. I have a few guitar parts layered on top of each other at the end, which might make it a little confusing.

I actually like your "unplugged" version better that the original. (The chorus in the original song seems very Coldplay-ish to me, but not knocking Coldplay, I'm a big fan).
