I was just in the middle of the room, but there was such a crowd that I had to stretch out my arms with the camera, and I tried to keep them motionless for the length of the song. Sound quality is due to Gareth's AEG guitar amplifier, I think, and to the great attention and concentration in the room, as you can see from the video. However, I have neither professional gear, nor I am an amateur film-maker; probably I was just lucky enough to make a good video.
Fabulous!!! Nice little details, like the little hipshake.
I would also like to compliment the camera crew. Most "pirate" (a technique meaning "shot from the audience") videos are of such horrible quality that I can't bear to watch them. But this one was really good. I thought I'd never see one.
Thank you so much. I recorded this video from my digital camera, the quality is not what I expected it to be, as the room was dark... I'm happy you liked it!
I noticed the frame moving to the beat, powered by the talent of Gareth Pearson. That means you were not using a tripod. Tell us how you braced the camera?
I'm sure part of the great sound quality is just blind luck. But also somebody like Gareth tends to hypnotize the crowd and they shut up so they can hear him. Note the almost complete absence of background noise.
I don't think this video is an accident. Please share. I'm sure your sports experience helped quite a bit.
Fantastic performance, great audience, I would like to be there!

What a drive and spirit! Never occurred to my mind anyone could get something like this from a piece like Thriller.
