Does Hormones change your sexuality as a transgender? My Response

So true, Estogen to a mtf transgendered person is like valium to anyone else. I personally believe that many mtf transsexuals probably feel that in order to be complete, they need to be attracted to men. Im naturally bi, so I have never had that problem. You make some excellent points. I am curious as to how many transsexual people who are on hormones have changed their sexual preference though. Thanks for a great vid.

... and if you actually start finding yourself attracted to the other gender while on hormones, don't be scared by it. Love who you want to love and don't let society keep you boxed into a particular pigeon-hole.

....So to anyone out there who is worried that the hormone therapy will make their "sexual preference" change, I may have started checking out and fantasizing about men a lot more after being on hormones for a while, but I never stopped being sexually attracted to women (not one iota.)

As Annah says in the above video, just be true to yourself. If you were attracted to a particular gender before hormones you will continue to be...

I agree with you, but thought I'd put in my two cents.

I used to be on the hormones (estradiol, t-blockers, etc.). I'm not anymore 'cause I simply can't afford them.

I found that while I was on them I'd catch myself checking out men (or fantasizing about men) quite a bit more than I would prior to that. However, I'm naturally bisexual so I'm not sure how much correllation there truly is there.
