Maybe soon the storm will be tired of blowin'. Maybe soon it all will be over, amen. How do you go on, if there's no way of knowin'? Will the sun ever shine? Wish I could say. Send me a sign- One little ray. Lord, if you're list'nin', how long until then? Will the sun ever shine again?
Rain is pourin' down like the heavens are hurtin'. Seems like it's been dark since the devil knows when. How do you go on, never knowin' for certain, Will the sun ever shine again? Feels like it's been years since it started to thunder. Clouds are campin' out in the valley and glen. How do you go on, when you can't help but wonder. Will the sun ever shine again? What if the rain keeps fallin'? What if the sky stays gray? What if the winds keep squallin', And never go away?
Because of the story behind the song, this was the first song i thought of after the attacks in Oslo. In a country with 4,5 million individuals, 90 dead in one day after a terror attack is quite a lot. Rain pours down over Norway these days.
One of the most forgotten Disney movies of all time, from that time of sub-standard/post-Renaissance/ Pixar-shadowed Disney. However, the music has always been WONDERFUL.
Also shoutout to Emperor's New Groove and Brother Bear, I actually liked those.
I have seen this movie only twice in my entire life time and im 14 now. I forgot the name but always remeber this song thank you for posting so i can find and watch it again and have all those wonderful childhood memories come back
Well some just people don't seem to understand clearly that it was the man behind the company who got rid of 2D, not this movie itself. I find it pretty pathetic to blame a single movie for what happened when it was really the fault of Eisner using poor marketing and bad timing on this movie and the other four before this (minus Lilo and Stitch). But despite what happened, I am proud that this was made and I choose it over Shrek 2. No offense Shrek fans. That's just my opinion.
I love Bonnie Raitt, and when I was kid and watching this movie; this was always the song stuck in my head. The other day, I was singing this, and thinking "this might be Bonnie Raitt..." and sure enough, I was right! (:
i used to love this movie aaaages ago then suddenly today i have the song in my head. i look it up on here and i realise its from this film!!!!! GOOD GOD!! thankyou
This was my good friend's favourite song. She passed away just before christmas 2007, in a boating accident. She was a loving and caring young girl, with a bright future. This song was played at a following christmas concert at our highschool.
It was a shame that Alan Menken's old partner Howard Ashman died. Yet he still manages to do well. In this movie, he partnered with Glenn Slater. All I can say is Alan Menken rules.
Same here. I cherish the movie as one of my favorite Disney flicks because of its charming characters and wonderful music. Alan Menken rules. My favorite characters are Maggie, Grace, Mrs. Calloway, Lucky Jack, and Alameda Slim. He reminds me of the Queen of Hearts. I love the old classic Disney formula of the 1950s.
I cry at this song every time. I saw this movie becasue I knew it was the last animated Disney movie for my 8th b-day, and this song was my favorite part. Now, the movie was ok, but the reason I still listen to this soundtrack is becasue of this song. One of my favorite songs EVER. This isn't the last animated film however, in 2009 they're will be a Frog Princess movie with the first black Disney Princess whose name is Tania! Don't ask how I know that...
I know. 3D may be nice to view, but now everytime I watch one, I feel as if something is always missing. This movie took me back to the early Disney works of the 1950s. I like Pixars films, but I'd still rather prefer to stick with this movie; especially Enchanted.
i know what you mean it's actually pretty sad now it just lost all its magic when they stopped putting the effort into drawing it and its not the same anymore
I almost cried too. But I actually cried out at the end of the movie when they played "Wherever the Trail May Lead" and "Anytime You Need A Friend." This part reminds me of the scene in Alice in Wonderland where Alice can't find her way and sings "Very Good Advice."
I loved this movie since the day I first saw it. It takes me back to the time when Walt Disney made fantastic earlier works like Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. It's no Lion King or Beauty and the Beast, but it's charming and spirited as the earlier works in the 1950s.
i am 14 year old girl and i am super fan of k pop and rock but the oldies and country music are the best music i will always love ^^

Actually, it's not the last. ;) Princess and the Frog, which will be traditionally animated, is going to be released next year. :)

It was going to be the last though, til Disney finally saw the light and figured out not all animated movies have to be in 3D.
