Sometimes you have to take a REALLY good song and pare it right back to the essentials. Then you can see just how good a song it is. Pitney's version is grand; and Marc Almond's duet is awesome; but they're both so over-produced that you can't see the wood for the trees. This version - so spare and so un-augmented - shows what a great song it is. And Bic Runga's voice (heaven must be missing an angel!) is the perfect vehicle for it. Thanks for this 13bach!
