so im sure you've heard that you look like Lauren London (my fav actress)a million times lol... But in this particular vid she had the exact same hair style and earrings in ATL (the public pool scene) its crazy how ya'll look like alike... She even had the baby hair thing going on too lol... i used to do this exact same style to my hair a lot back in the day. be careful because after awhile the rubber band rubs against your ends and causes split ends and damage...the hair thats tucked under in the bun. try bobby pins

hey, love the tutorial! i was wondering, instead of gelling the sides, did you ever try putting a little shea buttter on it and smoothing it in? i saw afrticanexport doing it and it looked like she got the same results ( the edges, not the bun, lol) .i'm just saying this because i know some gels tend to flake when they dry

Cute although every time I brush my curly hair that way it makes so many tangles makes it so difficult to detangle. Do you have this problem?

@LuvKris477 i was going to say no, but maybe i do, i detangle in sections as i'm styling so it never seems bad to me, i usually try to stretch out my hair before i brush it back like this too, reduces the chance for tangling

@VacuumLunqs no that never happens to me, do u use anything else when you use the gel? I usually never put just gel alone on my hair, that bottle of water had some grape seed oil in it, i forgot to mention that, but that may be a reason

Tip for thick hair: use a knee high to make ur ponytail. slide it up as if u were make'n a puff and make the ponytail like that. that way u dont have to keep smooth'n out ur hair or have to struggle w/ try'n to put all ur into the pony :)
