  • Good thing he landed in the water.

  • big ears suck, i guess that Swing wing is really old. Imagine that guy hit land, or the Yatch, nasty...

  • get a fucking wing that does use a condom for structural integrity - of course then all you funckers would have to learn how to fly properly - wankers

  • neva go X-wind with big-ears.

  • 'nd the release.

  • lucky

  • for sure there will be a difference between dry and wet glider but most of all it is pilots mistake he just did stall it twice. you don´t need to be a test pilot to recognize it. luckily he ended up in water.

  • wet glider and light loading make sense, but too much right control input (possibly trying to open right tip) spun the glider leading to a cascade...

  • If you watch the part where he lets the ears out you can see that the internal pressure drops. His wing just looks soft almost like he may be too light for the wing.

Look at the trailing edge after the first ear. The wings loosing its shape and ability to fly.

  • I downloaded this a few years ago from the DHV website, The problem was that the glider was wet by rain, making it more heavy.Due to the high resistance of the wingtips and the remaining energy of leaving the curve, the glider stalled and couldn't recover properly

  • When falling weightless it is a common reaction to reach hands out or down, not good technique if hands are attached to control handles....

  • Confucious: One must parawalk, before one can parafly (or paraswim)

  • i saw heaps of these videos...he did that on purpose

  • I dont know what happnd here some1 please tell me. that didnt look rigth from the start.

  • ouch!!

  • Pulled Big Ears...wieght shift left and right, Let both ears out at the same time, only left side comes out..Brakes both sides hard&fast then releases, right ears come out, enters deep stall, wing surges & dives to the left..slash! Just missed that sail-boat too!

  • In this "longed" wing is not recomended to pull out the big ears when you're close to the ground, it is better to keep them until you touch ground. When making big ears in big ratio wings they should be pulled out one by one , and not at the same time. this is a deppe stall caused for the change of the insidence of the wing.

  • Somebody could tell us why he entered the deep stall? Maybe a wet wing?

This is looks like a bad b-stall exit.. maybe if he got some altitude he could pull the a-risers to recover, right?

  • With the big ears hes close to the minimum speed (more air resistance). Then he pulled the brakes too much to open the big ears and went in to the stall. He must had to let go the brakes immediately and then brake the shooting wing. but its hard to do the right thing when you dont expect such a situation and dont have much hight...And this wing looks hard to fly.

  • Why didn't he try to recover?

  • Wow, he was very unlucky that it dropped into a stall and its surprising that it didnt recover. Looks like some sort of Swing performance wing.
