  • Ill take it!

  • Americans stepping to far this time -.-

I like Americans but their Senators are just to corrupt... well they show it publicly -.- atleast take it out on someone that wont cause a outcry in the UK

  • Im sorry but why on earth is he in prison?? It sounds ro me like he revealed a huge security flaw in america and also im thirteen so this is just an opinion also i found the term 'aspergers geek' slightly offensive as i suffer aspergers sundrome but oh well

  • The problem is that Gary did something, that compromised many peoples security but it shows something; anyone can break security. It shows that they need the talent. He needs to be given a job, doing something creative with his skills but extraditing him and treating him like the almighty evil is stupid, being fascist about the issue is pathetic. If we are gunna charge him keep him over in the UK where he can serve under our terms, he's our citizen not theirs.

    Just my views.

  • @R1DDL3RS I agree :D

  • (continued) but he would most likely be monitored for the rest of his " natural" life. Its a lose lose situation for him.

  • Yea mckinnon shouldn't be locked up. Yea he should be helping improve security. But if he didn't and he actually did brind america to its knees i can almost a sure you that the U.S. Would start a war to get him but that would be a worse case scenario. It would probably cause a depression around the globe for a few weeks. And then the U.S. Would go after him.

  • Danbull love you but you British folk need to stop being butthurt that a bunch of militiamen beat your british army way back when. Don't just complain about us because your not better at all.

  • @IINeonMonkeyII i don't think this is about us being "sore" about losing to you guys, this is more about you guys not actually setting up your homeland security upright and then getting pissed that one of ours pointed this out to you, if any one's sore it's america..

  • @IINeonMonkeyII (couldn't fit everything in)

and Dan has a point, a guy with that much skill should not be locked up, they should be giving him a whopping great big fat juicy pay check and ask him to fix their security so that something like that doesn't happen again (and for serious, cos c'mon let's face it leaving some anti-american comments on the database (that even a senior officer at the pentagon called silly) is hardly something to put a man away for 70years!)

  • @IINeonMonkeyII Nothing to do with anything here... that's a nice logical fallacy you got there where can I get one?

  • Is he such a genius? I thought all he did was search through for blank passwords and got into the US stuff because the idiots had never set their passwords. Thats not such tough hacking...its just made very easy by and more embarassing for the Americans. I dont think he should('ve) go(ne).

  • if the bloke is that good, bet your ass that he's working for the u.s government now. i find it pretty unlikely that the u.s would just extradite the man to put him in jail. the jail sentence is nothing more but fodder for the people.

  • They should take it as a kick up the backside to get their shit together and improve security rather than going all out to make the person who pulled their trousers around their ankles pay. They will get so much flak from everybody for pulling somebody who is mentally challenged away from the people he knows and sticking him in one of their prisons for possibly the rest of his life.

  • I'm an American, and I'm not happy with the way my government is handling this with Gary's extradition. There are worse people out there than those who pointed out that our government has absolutely no tech savvy.

  • Man what the fuckin' hell. I didn't know what this was about at first so I did some reasearch.

American here, there is no reason to send this guy over. I personally don't think he did much wrong, regardless, even if he did, the UK has a court system. This is just laughable in the worst kind of way.

    So yeah, Free Gary, basically.

  • dont it say something when ratings are 371 thumbs up to 6 down ......

  • This guy seems like a cross between Lowkey, Ed Sheeran and Elro.. That make sense to anyone?

  • I hate the American goverment so much, i assure you that the majority of the worlds problems, from african farmers livelihoods destroyed by Oil tycoons, to Wars all over the world, America will me messed up in them somehow.

  • Sir, I salute you.

  • one problem Dan

"US foreign policy is akin to Government-sponsored terrorism these days … It was not a mistake that there was a huge security stand down on September 11 last year … I am SOLO. I will continue to disrupt at the highest levels"

your friend gary wrote it he wasn't hacking as a favor to the American government he was maliciously attacking it and come on? looking for UFO Evidence? this kids a nutter.

  • @brigbjones And that is the point. Even though he has a mental disability, he still was able to hack it (although, in this case, the 'disability' was an advantage). He could have sent the US to hell with a single click; yet he didn't.

  • @plutonicmind9 Also, I do know it is illegal either way, but we all know the U.S is just doing this because they are (pardon the word, but it's the proper one) butthurt that a "retard" hacked their "impenetrable security"

  • anyone know if he got sent to america after?

  • American politics at it's best, shows they are like 4 year olds who wont admit when they fucked up, royally.

  • This shit is messed up, man. I don't give a damn what nationailty you are, I can't agree with what they did there. British Gov't should stand up for their countrymen.

  • Thank you Dan for being the guiding light of logic in a sea of ignorance and misinformation. Lets hope these dinosaurs die out before they can inflict major damage upon future generations. Your beef is GOOD!

  • I'm really impressed by the #TweetStorm4Gary on twitter #FreeGary campaign. #Twittocracy in and #Interactivism in action!

  • Comment removed

  • Again, so dope. You shoulda mentioned how Garry McKinnon found evidence of all kinds of weird stuff...

  • Comment removed

  • i have to disagree with you on this one a little bit this guy may have just be fooling around but he shut down a lot of computers in those departments that's VERY dangerous you anything could have happened in those 24 hours and we would have been weakened if he did damage or not that is putting many lives at risk.

  • @gojoready On the other hand, Gary showed them how vunerable their security was, so they know to improve it! What if terrorists or people with malicious intents HAD of decided to try to hack NASA? What then?

They should be scolding him for hacking them in the first place with probation, relieved that the person who hacked them wasn't doing so with the intention for maliciousness and thankful that they now know where there's holes in their security!

That boy will be eaten alive in jail! NO!

  • @gojoready He never shut down anything. The Americans are just claiming he did damage so they can extradite him.

  • Hey dan, I've heard this a few times now good stuff, I've embeded it a couple of times aswell now. Check this disclose.tv/forum/post297288.html#p297288 I'm a mod on that site, from Mark Shaw, you should remember me ; )

  • @MarkTheDuck1 sure to be sure Mark Shaw, how's it going blad? Do you still live in the grove? I do :(

  • Frree Gary McKinnon? I'll take one!

  • Freedom of informations Act US Free Dan Bull awesome song

  • its sad that america is this way, government was not suppose to be this big but well........ NASA should have nothing to hide. Also WHY take him to america.....

  • I think they should use his knowledge to make security stronger.

  • Am I the only one who finds the sudden emergence of Asperger's and suicidal tendencies only AFTER charges we're presented to be a bit convenient? Anyhow, Asperger's isn't an excuse for anything. I have Asperger's. A lot of people do. It doesn't mean you're in any way mentally impaired, it basically just means you're socially awkward.

The fact that he has Asperger's is completely irrelevant to this case. It is in no way a mitigating circumstance, and "self-harm" my aching ass

  • @Ironzealot7531 Excuse me?

You have got alot of balls to come in here after so long, claim you have aspergers and then say it doesnt impair judgement, are you fucking high or something? no seriously are you fucking high, you call not being able to relate to people, not being able to read social cues, not being able to interact on any sort of level, the information needed to soclize and you say this DOESNT effect our judgement? get the fuck out you stupid cunt

  • @VegetaFH1 yeah, you're right

let's just institutionalize everyone with aspergers as they obviously can't be relied upon to not self-harm.

WTF does reading social cues have to do with basic common sense? I can't look people in the eyes and I often find it impossible to understand their body language. So that means I don't understand that it's not a good idea to shove a fork in a toaster. Fucking fool.

He has Aspergers moron, not schizophrenia or down syndrome. Irrelevant to his case.

  • @Ironzealot7531 Im not saying Institutionlize everybody with aspergers, dont twist my words here, You know aswell as i do that people with aspergers have it harder then anybody else, imagen urself in his poistion, and you are sent to a country where you have no idea what to do, reading social cues get you through alot in instances like that, WE dont have that ability

It would lead to amass of stess and depression and pretty much disable any proper judgement on his part, that is crual to him tbh

  • Wow does anyone know where i can find the lyrics for this? :|

  • @modki Look at the video info.

  • FREE GARY MCKINNON!!! WE ARE DEMANDING GARY'S RELEASE!!! Great track!!! Check out new website for Gary: freegary(.)whynotnews(.)eu

  • I know they will not publicly extradite him to the US becuase his case will get more public exposure, thus making more people in the US aware of what the US government is hiding from its people. If he is extradited, it will be coinciding with another big media event to distract from his extradition, so watch out for that.

  • They did this to my brother. He worked on an insurance company, hacked it and went to show the "boss"how the security just sucked. He was fired. Nothing happened to the ones in management of security.

He is not autistic though...and I don't think he was charged just fired..(Puerto Rico)

  • wow this is crazy, id never herd of this guy until today. i just looked him up and apparently all he did to hack the military servers was create a simple little Perl script.

(for people who don't know , Perl is a programming language) so the fact that the hack was so simple doesn't really make him the worlds best hacker and eligible for a job. it was just a stroke of curiosity and luck. .. this guy does not deserve any of this.

  • wow . . . i thought America was powerful but if they gotta pursue this . . . . wow. . . . they should thank him for allowing them the opportunity to improve their defense. He is obviously a friendly. I guess they arent powerful. obviously they used to be now they are paranoid and running after kids with dial-up modems instead of the super powers they used to take on. So surprising, I thought the American government was a little better than that. Desperate much?

  • @danieljames626 either you've got some really stupid logic or you're a really obvious troll...i can't decide

  • Instead of using his skills they want to lock him in a US prison for 60 years.

    That's a shame.

  • does he actually send these?

  • Great Job!

  • You nailed them dude :)

  • Another Masterpiece Dan! If only I had a fraction of your talent ;)

  • Seriousily, what does it tell you about their security if a guy is hacking to NASA on a dialup connection?

  • @penaxor security is bad lol

  • @penaxor Thats pretty much all they had in 2001

  • LMFAO. Dial-Up FTW!!!

  • Something like this happened not too long ago here. A woman was forcefully removed to be jailed in the US leaving her 6 year old daughter to the social services

  • When did Aspergers become a "mental disability"?

  • That guy is a genius, and they are expelling him? Why not let him work for the British government to improve their security (if needed) or something, at least let him serve his time in the UK. Plus why are they making such a huge fuss about it, yeah he hacked into a US government institution but he did not damage anything, if anything he made them realize that their security wasn't that good if a man on a dial-up can hack them.... Total bullshit.

  • Free Gary! he hasn't done anything wrong, Dear Labour Party why did you surrender Gary to evil American Government.

  • You british people need to understand the extradite process. Every country does it. So stop with the "America is stealin our citizens zomgee" bullshit. Yes you have your own laws but if a person breaks a law in another country it is that country's prerogative to persue criminal charges. The person's resident country has to aprove it though. Britian could have easily said no, but they didnt.

besides he has a mental disability, he probably won't go to jail at all

  • @Harthhal - Actually, the problem recently has been a treaty that while in words makes extradition equal between the UK and US, in practise seems to mean the US can grab anyone it likes while the UK is left in the lurch. The US grabbed the natwest three while the UK cannot grab American IRA fundraisers. It isn't fair because its not going both ways.

  • so you should be a nig rapper or something lol

  • To the people of the UK, I just looked this guy up and I am appalled at what's happening to him. This is so wrong, this guy hacked into NASA on a dialup connection? LOL first of all. LO F'ING L.

A kid with aspergers hacked into NASA, why does it matter, i thought NASA was funded by the public? What is NASA hiding from me, someone who's taxes pay for it, that they have to put this guy in prison for SO long?

He didn't even reveal anything to the world. BULLSHIT.

  • @TheSremmos You hit the nail on the head buddy

  • @douglby from what I could see America had gotten shit rubbed in their faces and were pretty pissed off so they probably threatened the UK behind the scenes some how over it if they didn't hand him over.

You're exactly right though guys, it's completely stupid irresponsible.

  • @TheSremmos It's whose. Not who's, in this situation.

  • @TheSremmos It's not necessarily (but very probably) about the files themselves, but instead the general "Please-don't-hack-me"-iveness that's caused Gary's sentance. NASA probably is hiding something, but just because you pay taxes which then go to the NASA, it does not necessarily mean you have the right to read every shred of data in the NASA files.

  • @GalaxyGuy12

What does NASA have to hide? NASA does not send up the top secret military spacecraft, the Air Force does. The Air Force, being a military institution, I don't have the right to know because if I know that means foreign countries can know.

NASA is a Civilian science program meaning it really has very little room to justify hiding things. If a Meteor is going to hit the earth or something crazy then yes I do have the right to know since I pay for this civilian program.

  • @TheSremmos So if it's a civil program you have a right to know everything? If you did - which you don't - would that give you the right to steal the info? No.

Some civil programs such as schools have confidential data. Schools watch for students with severe mental or criminal sides, and those files are only for the teachers gathering the info, and the police (That's how it is in my country, dunno 'bout the US though). I don't think NASA has mental profiles stored, but they might have something.

  • @TheSremmos they shoulda gave the guy a job not jail, Arses lol

  • @bash26589 Why? He's a hacker, not a rocket scientist. What could NASA use a hacker for? Unless that is what they're trying to hide?

  • @GalaxyGuy12 well if he's a hacker then he's obviously good with computers and nasa use them on their rockets/shuttles so he could dessign software for them

  • @GalaxyGuy12 he's not even that great of a hacker

what he did, did more to expose NASA's laughable network security than his own hacking genius. He explained what he did and it is a pretty basic hacking technique. We have to remember that this happened in 2001 though.

Only 9 years ago, but net security has grown much more sophisticated in that short time.

  • @TheSremmos "What is NASA hiding from me"

maybe nothing? I mean look at your own fucking post:

"He didn't even reveal anything to the world."

ITE: he hacked government and military computers, fuck him.

  • @TheSremmos

and then to think big companies pay other companies to try and hack them to see how their security is , the pentagon should hire this man and pay him big money to secure their network

  • @TheSremmos Sadly no, NASA is not funded by the public, the government gives fundings to NASA from taxes and it repeatedly keeps getting cut for some off the wall reason. Half the time it's for nothing. NASA is a government establishment but, even I as an American Civilian, has to say that over reaction was a bit unnecessary. If it was military, or a larger more private database I could understand how it would be a federal. But some of the networking could be directly controlling satellites.

  • cool as fuck

  • How is it our fault if those dopes in that frigging ex-colony can't see talent, even if it hacks in and leaves tips on strengthening security on their systems? He may not be innocent, but he sure didn't cause the damage they're trying to pin on him. He's just a comfortable scapegoat.

To hell with their biased, oh-so-superior view.

    Support Gary McKinnon.

  • @dalikaeor im with you why the fuck should USA have the power to take a british citizen away from our country

why the hell is our goverment so spineless that it wont stand up to a country that has a tantrum because they cant keep their defences up to date

  • sick. this guy needs to be #1 on all charts. the next generation of hip hop. if hip hop is dead, i think this guy and his producer could birth an entire race.

  • It's decisions like this that make you want to support fucking terrorism. the world's gone mad. or was it mad and I'm just noticing it now?

  • this dan bull dude is fantastic.

free gary! We all know that aliens are being hidden from human knowledge to prevent breakdown of the control system. It wont stay hidden forever though. not forever.

  • I recently had a case like this, but with my school. I hate how the government/s think just locking him up will stop this. Anyone can study computers and anyone who owns a computer is at an even playing field. The government/s should learn from this. Someone should do this again just to teach them a downright lesson!

  • i luuv ur vids

    keep doin ;D

  • Why should we bend over and be americas bitch. our government are cowards, and there is no evidence.

  • unfortionatly true ,

  • EPIC!!! that was wicked mate... 60 years is out of order. And he found what he was looking for too.. Free energy technology that would stop global warming, from ET lifeforms.. either they dont want us to know about ETs, or they wanna keep making money off oil. or probably both... but this is an outrage to international dignity.

  • @instinctivexp DICKS AND DICKS

  • Epic. Nice dubstep beat!

  • To be perfectly honest, Gary's done them a favour by hacking them non-maliciously, and allowing them to uncover a loophole in their security system.

Not only that, this is Britain, in in Britain, we have British laws, he shouldn't have to be judged under American laws, that's just down right stupidity.

I can really see the Chinese hackers getting sent to America for attacking Google. (Not).

  • Please! Make a link to the mp3!

  • @MrBokai I second that emotion!

  • @Clarice007 I have the mp3 if you want I can e-mail it to you :)

  • garrys mint wot a fukin geza fuk america get on the petition

  • UK voters against the extradition: Text GARY to 65000 at your standard network rate to petition the government against the extradition of Gary McKinnon.

  • Excellent

  • If according to NASA UFOs arn't real, they can't really accuse him of tampering with UFO phots now can they? I know thats not all he did but yeah

  • seriously, everyone needs to voice this, its probably the 1st time your leaders have received letters from you askin for something, given the sheep like stare they think were in, we need to write to them , join the groups,GET THE DAVID GILMOUR cover of chicago in the chaRTS .... MAKE THEM SEE, THE PUBLIC WANT THERE ENGLISH MAN to face the music in his own country, at least..

nice letter,... GARY MCKINNON caused 0%, 0$ worth of damage, do not let them take your citizens under terror acts!

  • Dan, you are a legend!

  • unfortunately, the U.S. will probably get what they want....just look up what the DEA did to Marc Emery in British Columbia. He got extradited to the U.S. for stuff that happened on Canadian soil......it's not right!.....I hope you (Dan Bull) can spread the word and get these people back to their home counties, or at least start the proverbial ball rolling. Dan Bull is the man!

  • the guys autistic there no way they can get away with locking him up , they claimed the guy caused all sorts of damage lol all he damaged was the image of a so called "super power" fuck them hope hes ok and not too distressed

  • @wezzy1983 Bill Gates supposedly has Asperger's Syndrome. This kid has Asperger's. I have mild Asperger's and just failed my programming class. What am I doing wrong?? :(

  • @Lurker87 chances are its down to you're orginisation m8, you need structure and support never be scared to ask for it fuck what other people think.

im seriously dyslexic so i need alot of support during my h.n.d the actual work is fine its trying to keep myself focused i have a problem with , could be the same with you i bug the learning disabilities department at collage alot lol but keeps me on the right track see what helps available for you its worth a try . good luck 'n' keep trying

  • @wezzy1983 yeah i would be very very very very surprised if he got 60 years for that bullcrap. he said he simply searched for blank passwords. for christs sake this is supposed to be a high class computer system, blank passwords?!

  • @wezzy1983 While I agree that he shouldn't be locked up, I find your comment rather insulting on the regard that you think Aspergers and Autism are severe disabilities that impair peoples ability to make decisions, such as alcohol would. Before you reply to me, which I don't expect you to, please do a little research. I agree with you fulheartedly in every aspect other than the aforementioned. (I have Aspergers. My judgement is not fogged by it.)

  • @IsraeliGasMask i meant no offense ive been working with autistic children and adults for 9+ years i never said 100% of autistic people lack the ability to make descisions but 2 of my closest freinds (Aspergers) do. garys judgement wasnt "fogged" he wanted he took, but some of my freinds wouldnt think twice about jumping into a tricky situation without a care in the world something that many of us do but autistic people tend to do to the extreme no offense intended

  • Get this in the chart's .. Make it avalailable to download.. Follow on facebook .. free gary mckinnon.

  • The last paragraph before the second chorus is probably reason enough he shouldn't be convicted, even if he wanted to black mail... an entire country... with a problem they probably fixed already <_< and regardless of whether or not thousands of others could do it... they didn't. Many people can do many things, but only the first ones to do it are credited, so I think is skills, minor or not, deserve credit.

  • I AGREEE

  • When caught, he declined a favourable plea bargain and then tried to hold the US government to ransom by threatening to release publicly what he claims to have found. I've gained this perspective from reading early interviews, don't buy into his legal team's hype. The US-UK extradition treaty does have its problems, but that only clouds the issue.

  • Except it wasn't a favourable plea bargain at all, was not enforceable, and entailed pleading guilty to something he didn't do....Perhaps you have been reading some hype somewhere....

  • I love your work Dan - I've just subscribed - but I disagree with this song's premise. Gary is not a talented hacker, nor does he claim to be; he simply exploited gaping holes (blank passwords) - a feat that many, many thousands are capable of. Where's the evidence? He used his then-girlfriend's email address during the course of his illegal activities and admits everything. The US became interested in finding him after he explicitly promised to disrupt their operations.

  • He doesn't admit everything! Where on earth do you get that from? When exactly did he admit to causing a shred of damage? Never.

  • Is there not a petition to sign for this? I can't make the protest on the 15th :(

  • Yes, and facebook groups.

  • im there .. 15th noon

  • You are my favourite musician in the world right now, Dan Bull, except for my girlfriend.

You're not out to get rich, you're concerned with spreading the messages no-one else is. You get a lot of respect for that.

  • Have you noticed you may be made of pure genius? That guy has aspergers for fuck sake, hes not gonna last in prison, and she shouldn't be in there in the first place. You're right, if an american hacked into our government computers, america wouldnt let us arrest them.

  • Protest this outside the Home Office on Tuesay 15th Dec 12pm Stand up for Gary No extradition. #freegary on twitter

  • Public protest Tues 15th outside Home Office. NO TO EXTRADITION!!

  • Dear Dan my protest at this travesty has been sent to my mp . thanks for ridding me of my apathy . I'll March

  • Come to the protest on Tues 15th?

  • Free Gary.

  • Dan Bull is Britains best songwriter right now. This and his recent form has been incredibe. We are witnessing an uprising.

  • fantastic stuff keep this genre going, really engaging

  • I love these open letters. Very effective and amazingly well done.

  • I'm American and I hadn't actually heard of this problem until this video. Nobody is actually talking about it. But really, It's a good thing he pointed out a flaw in the Pentagon's security.

  • i don't know Gary, but apparently we should free him.

  • FREE GARY

  • I'm actually American and I don't think he should be extradited. Sure, what he did was illegal but if he hacked into any other place and this is his first offense I think he would get little to no jail time, mostly a slap on the wrist. Just because America thinks we're in charge doesn't mean we can manufacture our own justice.

Link the petition and I will sign it. If I can- there should be a collaborative one between British and US citizens maybe?

  • Brilliant as always Dan, keep it up.

  • always brilliant dan

  • Dan Bull is the protest song writer of the 21st century, the americans would never let one of theirs get extradited, what a farce. I lost all respect for Alan Johnson the moment he sacked Dr. Nut for stating that canabis was less dangerous than horse riding- even though it's a statistical fact, but the governmant only like "good" figures nowadays don't they?

  • Dan Bull, another mp3 going STRAIGHT to my mp3 player.

PS: Don't burn yourself out, your mixing rocks.

  • scrap the treaty and get out of the EU! I want Britain back!

  • EPIC as always

  • nicee

  • Nice one Dan

I also have my views on this in one of my video's although taking it from a Disability point of view since myself and Mckinnon both have Aspergers Syndrome (higher fuctioning autisum)

  • @VegetaFH1 I have Aspergers as well. Do you want a fucking cookie or something. People with Asperger's syndrome are not mentally impaired and they are still fully responsible for their actions.

I hate how the media is playing this up as if Aspergers syndrome is somehow a form of mental retardation. Basically saying "This poor man is retarded and can't be held accountable for his actions." Bullshit! Aspergers means it's tough relating to people, it doesn't in anyway affect your judgement

  • Hackers should be punished according to actual, direct damage caused, not what PR consultants and unnecessary security auditors (that will enivitably be hired to sweep the incident under the rug ) charge.

In this case, a simple "promise to not do that again!" should have been enough.

  • You sir, are too good at writing songs. Well done! :)

  • Wob wob wob... lovely job.

  • amazinngg.

  • Class letter, again. Roll on the Bull-run =D

  • awesome :D

  • Dan you're on fire man. I love these letters.
