We were on the lake when this happened too (see maidensd1), the sky turned orange/brown and then the sandstorm blew the bow of our boat off the beach. We had 3 anchor lines on the wind side using eye-hole anchors drilled into the sandstone. They were bent after the storm, many boats were lost on this day. I know what you guys went through!
