It's a shame... that Yuen Biao's spar with Sammo Hung was way better than this fight. Coreography was great but for some reason Nicholas Tse's martial arts onscreen just doesn't look good.
Throughout this TV ser I was sympathizing to Sammy Hung, he could've been given a better part in this movie, and not a loser! By the way he really resembles his father in both appearance and fighting style! I hope HK will make another couple of good kick-ass movie starring both Nikolas and Sammy! As a new generation!

Tses moves are flimsy. He wont join the greats like Sammo, Danny, Jet, Bruce, Jacky etc. If they remade the prodigal son he could play the main villain.

excellent showcase of wing chun. most oof these moves are found in the first form.
bong sao,lap sao,huen sao,fox sao etc. i like how the camera was able to focus on the execution. yes in real life it is much faster but it gives the viewer a very clear idea how these moves are executed and what there purpose really are in a live fight. great clip here to study for a beginner
I love this scene and I do think Sammy is a better performer, he has it is in his blood perhaps :-P But after watching the entire series, I waited for Sammy's character to get a taste of his own medicine. Of course, that doesn't really happen, I was a bit disappointed.
