Oh and one more thing. When Blake's car drives by the pond, he sees and hears the two women fighting but instead of asking his driver to STOP right on the spot and get out of the car and run toward the pond, he says "ALFRED BACK UP A BIT". Blake!!!
The fight scene was good. I remember it from when it first aired -- indeed, it was something
very "original" for network television worldwide! Everyone LOVED IT. Now watching it again, I was concerned about the possibility of the two women losing their beautiful earrings while fighting . . . something that would have happened in real life; but NOT ON TELEVISION. They both got out of the water with their earrings intact. Funny!
From what I read Chris was supposed to be Steven's lover and they moved in together raising Danny but ABC was horrified and that was rejected they are only platonic friends is what the network wanted.

Alexis is right, Crystal is guilty of the illegal offense of having 2 husbands at once & Blake saw that it was Crystal beating up Alexis. Crystal is wrong a baby doesn't solve all your problems. People who think this way think it's a "quick fix" instead of going to group psychology meetings. Even if you like Crystal or not, please don't fall into the pitfall that Crystal is suggesting because it will not work out.

The clarity of your clips is awesome! I posted on another clip of this scene that having spoken w/an AS employee who was present a great deal went into this scene. Landscaping was enhanced, lawn added, plastic flowers planted to enhance the garden effect. I noticed behind a sitting Linda for the first time wire mesh fencing which might explain when I was told landscaping was "pushed back" instead of removed. Joan had her stunt double do the fall but the remainder of the fight was Linda/Joan.

Of course, my interest in women's wrestling soon followed. But every now and then I would tune in to this show hoping to see another smackdown. Now that I'm older I see these fights were brutal. Alexis derserved every bit of that. Wow! Krystal can throw down.
What was weird, even though I was a child when this scene aired, I remembered the buzz that occured immediately after.
It seemed all the adults began taking an interest in this show and Wednesday nights were a must see event.
I was interested after that as well, but the Alexis and Adam characters bothered me too much. They were disturbing. I mainly stuck to my cartoons until much later.
GI Joe was traditionally my drama of choice. at the time. lol.
@mastmedia I was a little girl when I first saw this..it was on tv quite late & I remember falling asleep in my foster mommy's arms while it was on tv. It's nice to enjoy it now!
