i'm 100% support of all the police actions for the g-20. if you are a student and wanted to see what was going on, turn on your tv and watch the news!!! and if you were stupid enough to go out in this and got arrested, you deserved it!
ya the fag hippies relly needa get shoot to learn a leason bunch a pus hippies wanting an adrenilan rush on the expense of ther citys law enforcment an city capital. gooood jooob guys u made a difference! IDIOTS.
students were too dumb to mind their own business and wanted to "get involved and see whats goin on" i live in oakland and stayed the fuck inside i have no horror stories to tell cause im not an idiot..u kno riot cops and swat are goin to be in the area, but chose poor judgement..your fault..i chose to watch on you tube and got a full account of what happened..stupid, stupid kids. i see cops im out! period!
These people on the patio got tear gassed because a sniper could easily set up shop there. This has nothing to do with freedom of speech. Can't blame the police for thinking ahead for any possible situation.
And don't say "rawr they're just college students, college students don't shoot cops," because that's what everyone thinks before a cop actually gets shot. Cops just don't take chances with other cops' lives.
Yeah, a sniper was totally going to set up shop in a crowd of two or three dozen college students, and shoot at cops right in front of all of them. That would totally be a logical decision. And the thought that that could happen totally warrants tear gassing a bunch of innocent college students.
Where was Pitt CHANCELLOR MARK NORDENBERG through all of this mayhem while his students were being fired on and gassed on his campus?
The Gazette reported Pittsburgh Police DEPUTY CHIEF PAUL DONALDSON was the Campus scene commander giving orders. They each should be held responsible for this horrible event!
I'm not so illogical to think that as a whole, these policemen think the things they're doing are right. God bless them because this truly can't be recognized as doing the right thing.
there were certain groups that started the protest with the right intentions. Students got nosy, along with other ppl who had no idea what was going on. The ignorant ones were the ones to fuck the purpose of this all up. The New World Order is what a lot of the ppl were protesting about
Freedom of speech and assembly is a RIGHT... not a PRIVILEGE, as thugs would have you believe.
The FIRST AMENDMENT is not anarchy---- it is OUR LAW. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a LIAR. The police are not obeying our LAW-- you should sue them for gassing you.
Obama is just as guilty. These presidents are not the ones to blame tho. They are nothing but puppets caught up in this monetary system dealing with the federal reserve. A revolution will happen soon. Our government leaders are the ones authorizing this brutality.
Stand up for yourself, man. You weren't doing ANYTHING. They gassed a residence hall full of students who had obeyed orders and gone back. Your poor judgement? No. The police's poor judgement. This was a case of police abuse, pure and simple.
I completely agree with this, you were on the balcony just watching, they had no right to gas you. I not against police action but this is clearly police abuse.
"hey, i'm warnin' you... get off them towers.. quit climbin' on those towers you hard-ons... don't eat the brown acid, hey, i'm warnin' you... i had long hair before any of you jerkoffs.. no somebody get me a who-er."
I'm with szo, I didn't see any "rioters" from any video I've watched so far. Many students just hanging around their campus/dorm, but nobody rioting. Didn't even see students respond with violence when teargassed, harassed and arrested.
There was definite violence. Rocks were thrown and there was property damage. Not sure if the damage was done by an "anarchist" group or just students feeling the guise of protest gives them carte blanche to behave in a destructive manner. It saddens me that the valuable and peaceful protests that make a TRUE difference are soiled by these types of gatherings. I wonder how many were drinking Starbucks or wearing Gap shirts while supposedly protesting capitalism...
"This is not a bad reflection of the police, but rather evidence of our poor judgment."
because you were standing on the balcony of your dorm separated from any rioters, you deserved to be teargassed by the police? stand up for your rights yo this is so wrong

i think you're all a bunch of college pussies who are ill-equipped to do anything about the situation other than whine about it on YouTube.
