  • Awesome video!

  • Thanks!

  • shit i wish that i can see ten trains a day again. im in west plam beach FL and at night i see 3 csx trains and 1 or 2 FEC's trains on a friday night. csx comes anytime at night between 8pm to 5am sucks big time

  • Wow, all at night. That figures. Although I wouldn't mind shooting the FEC sometime. I'd especially like to shoot the Indiana Railway. The Cleveland line is the second busiest NS line, and I livea minute or two away, so I'm pretty lucky. The set of five tunnels on CSX's Shortline Sub are roughly 15 minutes away, but I've never gotten to shoot there seeings as my parents won't take me because it's a bad neighborhood.

  • Of course, not always is CSX limited to the time frame that I told you months ago. The coal trains as well as the southbound empty rock trains are proof. That was just an estimation as to when you can anticipate CSX trains in South Florida. There have been many times where I have captured rock trains as well as one of the coal trains in the middle of the afternoon.

  • Great locations & shots!

  • Thanks Greg!

  • i would say train one was doing a good 70 mph.

    great video!

  • Thanks! I wouldn't say he was doing 70, maybe about 60. Trackspeed is 60, but some intermodals will hit about 65.
