In the meantime, you can put a small towel in the bottom of a box and gently place the bird on the towel. Then cover the box with a sheet or another towel. It is essential that the bird be kept warm. Do not feed the bird or give it water. Take it to the wildlife center or vet ASAP, please.

I am going to be doing some bird bandings in a week and maybe a Kestrel box check this saturday!
