Maki and Kago are very close. They used to share hotel rooms and go shopping together all the time but now Kago is gone. :( A while back I heard Maki and Takahashi have gone to karaoke a few times and go to each others concerts. I also know Reina, Eri and Konno idolized Maki before they joined Morning Musume.
