COOL! I've been trying to use an inverted V on my Catalina 27 on 80/40m,, but fed with coax, w/o much success-- didn't consider a parallel feed.. Does the mast running parallel screw it up at all?
I used the spinnaker halyard to hoist the center insulator. Only used at anchor. Wire is #26 copperclad steel, insulated (available from the Wireman -- great stealth wire); feedline is 1/2 inch ladder line, to a 4:1 balun then to an LDG QRP tuner. Tunes all bands, at least for us!

Peter,
Didn't seem to, but we're only running 5 watts. Been using this system for about 5 or 6 years....

How do you have the inverted V rigged on the Caliber? Is the mast the support? How do you tune it to 40m?
