Well for YT to have said that, they've obviously never even looked properly at your channel and video content. Sounds like someone was just trying to clear their in-tray of thousands of apps by just sending out a lot of standard rejection letters. It's far easier (with less paperwork) to reject than accept. And it's very tempting to do that when you're under pressure. I've seen it happen in large organisations. But TBH you're probably better off as a non-partner - you're less tightly controlled.

Thank You for your response. I used to beleive in 2nd chance with rejection however now its a clear cut no tolerance. The pain, if it happens is just not worth it as you begin to get down on yourself for being so stupid to trust some like the youtube counsel after they hurt you so bad. Its not worth it .
You deserve someone who will be and have faith in you and only you. In the end its your choice as to whether or not you can trust them again......How about Dinner!!!

I got the same message, and I agree, it wasn't the rejection that bothered me it was the fact that my videos don't represent the uniqueness of the youtube community. It's just like WOW, is that the best you can come up with? you couldn't just say you can't partner me cause I don't have enough viewers? No, It's the fact that I am letting youtube down with my unoriginality.

you know i would make you my partner in a heartbeat. please don't let the utter randomness of the partnership program - they partnered my channel when i had about 500 subs and was lucky to get a thousand views on a video. There really is no sense as to how the decide.

But if they'll turn YOU down I'll bet a dollar I get turned down more quickly.
