i tried this once with a 95 dodge neon...held it pinned for over a minute......nothing....ran good still....car sat for another 2 years, friend was in need of a 2.0l for her 97 neon....swapped over what i had to and its still running....fu dodge, only engine i ever had luck with of theirs

I have a '88 Chevy Nova that uses the same motor, only mine still runs nicely. A little bit rough on the edges, but I'm checking in at 42.5 MPG reliably with it.

Shoulda kept that motor in one piece. I'd have bought it for parts to keep mine going, something weird going on making mine lose oil everywhere.
