I was going to ask if you or your family set off and fireworks, and it looks like the answer is no. You set off firecrackers, but not fireworks.

I remember watching your New Year video from last year and recall that there seemed to be about 4 or more times as more fireworks.

Was there also more snow last year?

I once put a matchbox car on top of some fireworks. It melted the toy car nicely. It also melted me nicely when the molten car was accidentally dropped on my bare foot, resulting in a severe second degree (maybe borderline third degree? dunno didn't go to the doctor: my dad (Hospital Pharmacy Manager) just got some silver sulfadiazine creme to put on it) burn which took at least a month to heal. Still have a gnarly scar; anyone wanna see?

Boy the ole economy seems to have recovered very fast, it must have been from the sale of all those fireworks. talk about an economic stimulus.

Hope you entered 2009 safe and sound. You never now, with those mad fireworks:o) I was less than one meter from being blown up. One of the balls from one of those big rocket batteries (something like what goes of 4:12 in your vid) jumped across the hood of a car, and exploded right in front of me. Besides not hearing to good for an hour or so, i'm still finding small parts of the damn thing burnt into my face. Damnation*lol*

How bad is the economy for the average Icelander now? Are you guys hurting, or was the hint towards the economy more of a joke? Hope you get it under control anyways.
