I have a Zulu and I have to say that it is probably the highest quality ruck I have ever seen. But I agree that the price for some of their products are totally unreasonable.
The Marauder costs way more than $300. Try $385, another 10% if you want camo, and another $60 if you want the "optional" padded waist belt. Then you will receive a separate email with the shipping costs. Now we are up to $500. What a joke! !
@smttysmth02gt That's a no shitter. I would never pay $300 for a pack, unless it was bullet proof as well. Maxpedition bags are just as high quality and A LOT less. I paid $55 for my Fatboy and it is very durable.
@TeeTenCharlie Actually wasn't comparing my Fatboy to this particular bag... just making a general statement that you can probably get something else with just as good quality that will do the same thing for a lot less.
I am sure it is not like this in real life, but it seems like there are too many straps hanging all over the place. It does look like a nice quality bag. IMHO it would make a very good BOB.

I wish I had the money to buy one of these....

What internal pouches do you have on this? I'm considering buying one and i'm just curious
SKATEtheNATION 1 year ago
If the price is too high, you probably don't need this quality of pack and can stick with cheap knockoofs from overseas.
Kifaru is made here in the US and are some of the best made, high quality, purpose built packs with a lifetime guarantee.

Their website says they're located in the Colorado Rockies, which is nice.

It looks like an excellent bag. I highly encourage the brand to reduce the price, so I can consider purchasing it.

@TangoDownProduction
You can't really compare the Fatboy with this bag. They aren't even in the same category.

Too complex for my taste. Im a simple army surplus carpet bagger sort. Nice review though, thanks.
