I love the choreography..but it would have been better if you guys have pointed your toes, kicked your butts on ur hops and lifted more..other wise VERY nice.

How are those moves "illegal"? And even if they are, they're not at a feis, they're doing a performance. I thought it was a nice perfromance. A little slow at times, but still a very good job.
Several of the moves (such as the brush cut heel step) are ILLIGAL moves to do in soft shoe... perhaps you should change the title. It is good dancing but it is not Irish, it is more of a mix of Irish and... well not sure what else. But please note that I do think it is good. :)
You obviously haven't been to a recent Championship competition. Many hardshoe moves are coming into the shoe shoe dances, including brush cut heel steps.
I'm just going on what my TCRG yells at us. A lot of our Open/Champs have wanted to do more things like that but in our comition it is illegal... maybe your in a different one or just in a different region. Espeshially at O's if things like that are done you can say buh-bye.

omg maybe the teacher is not from CLRG jeeze its ok to not be with an commisum or comdhail, there are many ways to irish dance and even tho i choose to be with a registered teacher i dont slight other styles! i thought the routine was ace! dont worry bout what the others are saying keep dancing and having fun it is irish dance!
Looks like your teacher "choreographed" a bunch of Lord of the Dance stuff into your little dance there. What wasn't from either Lord of the Dance or Riverdance, was just the same thing over. I hate to sound like I'm the kind of person who gets offended easily, 'cause I'm not, but this dance was kind of weak.
whose telling you this is irish dancing? i'm sorry if i'm sounding rude but as an irish dancer it kind of offends me to see some teacher trying to pass this off as irish dancing...

cute choreography, but if i may just make a suggestion? kick your butts on your hop 2-3's, and keep those knees straight! otherwise, very nice.
