you're very good, especially considering your age! do you always play with such a tight bow, though? it's probably not good for your bow or your playing. keep this up, you'll get into a great conservatory and have a great career as a violinist, if that's what you want!

Might one point out a slight fruitful observation. He is playing this, even though you can hear "breaks in the bow" which happens a lot I.E. When ones nervous or unsure of what's going on.. But he IS playing the violin and there's no faking going here. True talent to this. As I am a violinist/violist for nearly 23yrs I could go on.. But were here to talk about Stepan not me.

um...how long did it take you to learn this piece?? I am curious and would love an anwer! How long did it take you to get up to tempo as well? please anwer me! I am working on this song now cause I really want to get it down on my viola! I can almost play all of the notes. I can tell you right now that you will have a phenomenal career as a violin soloist if you continue in the direction you're going. I can't believe you are so young and so accomplished. I am a professional musician, and I would say you definitely have what it takes! Bravo.

No music provokes more begrudging comments all over youtube than Paganini :) It's an honest and impressing performance, no need to tell others that you will improve it over the years, anyway. Showpiece or not, waltzes were showpieces as well, but they're an important part of classical music and nice and cool stuff, just like this No.16.

Are you really playing? I can't focus on your fingering your bow looks like it is slurring but I here it in broken bowing I don't know. I will stick to Julia Fischer she is clean and this isn't bad but... I don't know.

@Velioz You got it right the first time I don't have two first names. I thought you fast forwarded but then I thought there is something wrong with the camera. Great playing by the way I practice each measure slowly and I used to just play the piece head on I noticed it's not played that way. I will listen to a number of violinists you being one of them.

Is there a youth orchestra in your country ? You should play in an amateur orchestra and study more meaningful symphonies or concertos instead of spending so much of your youth on meaningless show pieces.
