@eddiekuzu01 9 euros today is around 12 US dollars. Might've been somewhat similar back in July when you went, but I'm not totally sure about that. I think it was more expensive when I went in 2007 because of the weaker US dollar against the euro at the time. In any event, it was a GREAT time! Thanks for commenting.

@worldted I was there on 4-1-2011. We took the stairs till the 2nd storey and then the elevator to the top, I think it was 8.90 euro's. If you go to the eiffel tower you should really go to the top the view is amazing there! :P

@roelmarco We went to the top the first time, but would probably just go to the 2nd story on our next visit. The reason is that you get a great view from the 2nd story, and it's almost a 2-hour wait to get to the top level. Don't get me wrong, the top level has a better view, but I'd rather do without the 2-hour wait, and settle for really terrific view from the 2nd level. Just my take.

@worldted Paris is my favorite city in the world, so much to see and do if your a tourist. i think going up the eiffel tower is somthing everyone should do in there lifetime. i think its an amazing structure, so much history behind it.

i saw it during winter: it's really more fascinating when it's cold, windy, and all the lights are on, people in warm coats and big scarves, and happy children smile and laugh everywhere running. I think it is the most powerful image I remember of Paris, and the Tour Eiffel is, in my mind, the most beautiful structure in the whole city. I can't wait to come back there!

That's actually good to know because I'd imagine that it would be a lot less expensive to visit Paris in the winter. I love the picture you painted of the Eiffel Tower in the cold weather! Thanks for sharing that!

I was fortunate to be there in the Spring. I'd imagine being there in Feb would be mightly cold. If you say it's colder than Oslo, Norway, then...wow...this IS cold! But, yes, the Eiffel Tower is certainly majestic. Was a thrill to be there. Thanks for commenting.

Yes, that's me talking in the video. Was visiting my step-brother in Marseille, but we took the TGV up to Paris for a few days. Paris is, of course, UNBELIEVABLE!

Lucky you! You'll love it. My only suggestion is to go to the second level, not the top level. From the second level you'll get a GREAT view of Paris. The wait to go from the second level to the top level is like TWO hours in line! Anyway...have fun there.
