  • One of my all time favorite Dave and Tim moments ever!

  • @msDurchy Tom Hanks looks like Dave...

  • For the first time together, it's not so bad...

  • @13ben74 not their first time together they have been playing together since before dave's band made it big...... fuckin misinformed bitches think they know everything

  • @TheSnowboarder666 I know that...So calm down man, I'm kidding !!!

  • Tim Reynolds is such a virtuoso - so underrated. Love the cutoffs, Timmy! Easily a top 10 DMB song...beautiful.

  • I just diarrhead everywhere because i had to make a choice, finish this song or ruin my social life forever. I dont regret it.

  • @caden26 That does not actually make sense: finish this song and* ruin my social life forever. You're welcome. ;)

  • Is that a Martin Dave is playing? I thought he was sold totally on Taylor. GO MARTIN!!

  • @sgtstardust I think its an HD-35...

  • How tiny is Tim...? Haha That guitar looks huge! And he is the same height standing up as Dave is sitting down!

  • Two Guitars............Unreal........:)

  • This song really gives me goosebumps!

  • Having seen several DM & TR vids one could only conclude that they breath the spontaneous language of cohesive music oneness...as this is their first playing.

Few duos, or bands can get this type of gelling synergistic arriving at an apex were the wonder of many musicians strive, yet fall short.

  • Dave must die.

  • @MacReverb2 why?

  • Dave looks like Tom Hanks…

  • why can't every dave matthews song be available on iTunes or Amazon in one download for like $500. I'd buy it twice.

  • Original lyrics. inspired composition, flawless execution.. Dave Matthews.

  • Last night I listen to Before the Crowded Streets, that I haven’t been listen to for a long time and after listen to The Dreaming Tree I You Tubed it wich is my “Dave Matthews You Tube premiere”. Know I have been listen to this over and over and over again. – And finally I see have Tim Reynolds looks like. – I don’t know why I write this!

  • 4 people don't like Fresh Food...

  • i love how Tim ends the song, and dave just turns and starts bouncing up and down with tim hahaha

  • Dave and Tim Tim, nothing better when it comes to acoustic music

  • I was there for this .... awesomeness

  • @TheMamaShoob lucky

  • this is the first time they played the song together? fucking wow.

  • wow this is amazing. great duo.

  • I might be thinking this because I just got done reading the book, but this song goes perfect with "A Game of Thrones"

  • Possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen. Tim Reynolds=luckiest man on earth. Not only jamming guitar gawd style w/Dave......Guitar Gawd!, but Dreaming Tree to boot, one of my favorites.

  • this is so baller. what a unique talent both guys are. Dave and Tim for life.

  • 1:52

this finger is for the four dislikes

  • where can u get this version??? i tryed itunes but its not there plz help as this version is way better then the one from itunes

  • brilliant. sonic heaven.

  • guitar tone heaven

  • I keep on fav'ing this.

  • fucking amazing!

  • 4 people were too drunk and accidentally clicked dislike

  • My Favorite Dave Song and w/ Tim even better

  • Sometimes it looks like the guitar is playing Tim :p haha. Love him though! And of course his excellent work along with dave on Dreaming Tree (and all other acoustics)

  • My favorite song through out the concert.

  • 3 people have what ever Helen Keller had.

  • @dchlad poor Helen.

  • These guys could play anything and make it sound great!!!!!!!!!!

  • most intense ive ever seen tim get. He was really into this song, and as was I.

  • @jigen8 Oh man, that is nothing for tim. Check out is solos on jimi thing and watchtower in Chicago. Hes wearing some sort of futuristic suit with sparkles too, so it's even better haha.

  • A great rendition of a less widely available Dave and Tim song from DMB's 'Before These Crowded Streets' album (it's not available on any of D+T's official live releases so far). Nice vocal from Dave and Tim's playing is right on the money as always.

  • is there a tear in my eye? this song is beautiful!

  • Tim is amazing and dave's voice shines through his beautiful guitar

  • dave and tim are amazing and they are just awesome thats all there is 2 it

  • Tim owns this performance.

  • @TheLiquidSword Tim owns every performance :)

  • Awesome!

  • brilliant performance wicked songwriters

  • whenever an old man starts talking to me, its never like this. its always some bullshit about the bus he's waiting for and how south boston just aint what it used to be..."we drank, fought and stole cars, but the kids today and this heroin...."

  • Dave and Tim are just cool as hell. Dave gets on stage looking like he just rolled outta bed and Tim rockin shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals. They just don't give a shit!

  • Dave's so nervous but so good here... you can tell Tim knows and is tries to reassure him a few times

  • @PenaPepper tims a beast

  • need peace all over the world

  • He's a gift to humanity.

  • I love it!

  • This song is way deeper than audiences suspect. I love this!!!! Dave must be a giant. Cause sitting down he's just as tall as Tim.

  • Tim is a tiny dude. A tiny genius.

  • Amazing.

  • tim wore that shirt at spac

  • love their solo together at the end! Best i have heard from them together....

  • @DusJasso It's an awesome acoustic solo but I don't think it beats Ants Marching from Live @ Luther College.

  • I love how dave just gets on stage, his hair not fixed, not shaved...looking like crap and then just rocks it out to where you don't even notice anymore

  • damn daves looking kinda rough here, lol must have had a late night the day before.

  • i love tim reynolds rockin the shorts and sandals on stage

  • ha i love how tim standing up is the same height as dave sitting down.

  • @n8thegr8byu hell he even headbangs. brutal.

  • I don't mind that Dave and Tim were being "self-indulgent" on this one. Lol.

  • tim reynolds is absolutely unstoppable...the man is filthy

  • 6:05 to the end.. breakdown to buildup, Dave does that better than none other. goosebump city.

  • could not agree w/ u more. ur heart is pounding n i cant rly exactly explain the feeling but u said it perfectly "goosebump city." for me, this is their most moving song, i agree w/ princeofsafeway about the lyrics and definitely scottie2hottietfot about tim...love the guy!! insanity! personally, i like dave n tims stuff better than most of the bands stuff, and 95% of their songs sound better live than in the studio.....best band EVER!!

  • this is one of the most poetic songs in his repetoire.... Love it!

  • That's a big statement for a man who's entire repetoire is amazingly poetic. Nice statement though. : ) Thumbs up.

  • Faking sincerity? Obviously you have never seen Dave or DMB play live. There is nothing fake about them. They put everything they have into every performance. One of the best live bands around.

  • THE best... 03/03 this year, amsterdam

  • take that cock out of your mouth

  • I love it all but Luther College is awesome!

  • tim reynolds is absoultutley amazing luther college is the best live cd ever made

  • tim in radio city is also great

  • I agree 100%. Luther college is the greatest cd ever made. Radio City sounds better for acoustics, but Luther College is amazing!

  • this is so good

  • I dunno, this version is cool, but to me you got to have the band for dreaming tree, the bass line is where its all at. I like hearing Tim and Dave acoustically though. Their acoustic version of Eh Hee is my favorite, but in all honesty I don't really like hearing Tim with an electric soloing all over with the rest of the band. Tim=natural acoust Except for shake me like a monkey it works out there. Still, whish they could have gotten Haynes... Haynes on electric w/DMB is a match made in heaven.

  • victor wooten would make that even more perfect

  • eff that tim reynolds might as well have invented the guitar...

  • Thats cause Fonz wrote this song

  • NO ONE can touch these guys.

    Un-bloody-believable.

  • These two are great together.....when I first heard the Luther College CD I was floored! I realized then I never really listened to music at all...only bullshit. Dave and Tim opened my eyes....thanks!

  • <3 ugh, best song ever.

  • listen to that roar.. "ohhh HAVE YOU NO PITY" watch out

  • man i really wish the outro was a lot longer, seems like they cut it a bit short

  • haha unbelievable

  • my favorite Dave song. excellent

  • dave and tim.......damn good stuff. one of the best duos I've ever heard

  • SO SICK - TIMMY IS GOD _ DAVE IS THE KING _ DREAMING TREE IS THE MOST WICKED SONG EVER, great duo version

  • Daves talle than tim sitting down. once u see him in person he really is tiny

  • One of the most underrated songs in the DMB repertoire....Not played enough.

This was the first time Dave and Tim played this song together live as well at FarmAid.

Was just freaking amazing to see these two perform it together and who in hell give a crap about tim's show....one of the best acoustic wise and electric wise if you've ever seen him

  • excellent song.

kind of depressing tho if u listen close

  • Perfect.

  • Awesome performance!

The only problem I have with this video is that I can't get over Tim's shit shoes.

  • Tim Reynolds = most underrated guitarist ever

    awesome video

  • Everytime you think you found Dave Matthews best songs, you will find another new one soon.

  • i know man...ive been listenin to DMB for years..and it feels like every month or two i discover another old dmb song that sticks with me...

  • I know, it's awesome.

  • i used to be into dmb a lot..... lost touch..... this vid is awesome i forgot how much i liked his music, i saw em in 2000 i think...... at dodgers stadium..... awesome....dave is a good poet

  • One of the BEST versions of DT i have ever heard. Very dark and haunting....I love it.

  • sad song, this was a good farmaid though, the set that dave did with greg allman and warren haynes was awesome, except daves voice was shot because they played piedmont the day before this, still an amazing performance

  • fuckin sick man.. especially since dave and tim never really played it together before.

  • Very underrated song.

  • Ridiculously tastey
